I that quote Emo said funny because the fact that roses have thorns is a perfect example that life is fair.
What a shame it would be that roses didn't have thorns just so that angst-ridden teenagers could rip them off from their birthbed without pinching their precious 'poetry'-making, three-strum-songwriting hands.
What's even funnier is that I have indeed heard many kids saying that same thing.
But what I didn't like is that "There is no God" quote. I hate whiny atheists.
