Actually, CCT, it's really annoying. It's like when people think 'wherefore' means where, or misuse thee and thou and thine and any other variant of early modern English you can think of.
Not to mention it's beyond cliche and stereotypical.

My girlfriend gave me this stuff to gargle every half hour, and it's doing wonders for my throat.
She actually gave me lots of stuff for my sickness. ^^
I don't know what I would do without her.
She's great.

I got A+'s for both my mid year exams (chemistry and biology). And 100% for an anti-whaling paper in English.
