Since it's the noun, it should always be "mort".

What you described is "La petit mort", but it's possible that it needs to be capitalized. I've seen someone write "la petite mort" once, but I'm pretty sure he was wrong. As I said, even the French native speakers don't know how to write their own language mostly

That's a relief...

What's weird is that I can write French well, but I have problems speaking. As in my conversational skills are virtually non-existent. French seems to be the kind of language where even natives make grammatical erros fairly easily.

At the risk of getting flamed, I think English takes the cake on that one

In spoken language that is...

Ooh...I gotta proofread my posts more thoroughly. I meant "errors". Speaking of irony...

Merci toujours! These are the kind of quality posts that attracted moi to Gnet in the first place. Some dignity and sophistication has returned to Gnet! Tres bien!

"Je ne parle pas bien le français"
&
"je m'appelle Alice"

Close enough to be understood! Never be afraid of making mistakes. It's how you learn.

Why can't you use them? They're in the keyboard... pushing the right keys ^^U Can't tell you because my keyboard is different and the places of some keys change...

Well, it depends who you're using it for.

To your lover: "mon amour", "mon trésor", "mon coeur", ...

To your lover, female only: "ma belle", "ma puce", "ma jolie", ...

To one of your kids: "mon trésor", "ma puce"

Most of them, as you see, start with "my" and some you can use for romantic reasons, or for your kids. It really depends on the context.

There are dozens of endearments, just have to find the one that fits the situation and the person you're using it on.
