Selfish

heavenly dream
realm of passive glory
escaping into subsistence
of our hopes here
after we collapse
in blood and bruises
we join you without
pain, without pain
we join the clouds
rising through them
angelic showers of
black winter snow
after the final plunge
into depth into darkness
the beautiful escape into
a world without boxes
without skin, without the earth's
gravitation, the eyes
without song, without light
rising falling, swiftly exhaling
can you hear the song of death?
depth, death, depth
it's not wrong, not wrong
to be free of this pain
but who will be there when
I am gone? Have I been gone all along?
You're used to it...by now.
Depth of death, it's the end of now
the everso present now.
The everso constant flow
We are ready to fall, face flat
Pain. Pain. Selfish. Surface.
She killed herself before the
self became, but who was she
Before, a little girl?
