If that's a reference to my name, then I've had this since the first Discworld book.

I don't believe elitism -- I believe, yes, in defending your ideals --but shunning someone who doesn't adopt your perspectives or lifestyle is wrong -- my friends are "normals", goths, bdsm enthusiasts, swingers, bi, gay, black, white, Lithuasian, Loatian -- and I feel enriched by their ideals although I don't always agree with their worldviews...

But now that you mention it! OMG, Henry Coffin and Duckman!

Argh, that I never got that link before!

*observes* Amazing how a simple, poorly-worded sentence sends the board in an uproar.

And I'm pretty sure it's French, Ducks, not English.

Wow, I leave for a few days and miss quite a bit of bashing...

Duck, would you be a fan of Jon Cryer (and dear sweet Molly?)

And another Duckman reference.

I had a girl once used to Phil Dale because of that movie.

One of my boys was watching something on VH1 and I heard it. It was really a moment of "Oh sweet Mother, I knew he stole it from something!"

(The boy looked at me and asked if I was feeling all right)

I've already explained where I got the name from. When I first began performing, I'd be so nervous on stage that I had to wear a mask, and the type I chose was a half face dust mask. One of the guys in the crowd shouted out that I looked like a duck with it on, and another guy responded with "He's The Duckman". So there you go.

Nah, why get tired of such a fitting metaphor?

If you can think up of another way to describe someone getting flamed then I'll be the first one to use that!

Elitism.

I think the third and fourth definition sum it up the best.

Strictly speaking, you only allow yourself to get annoyed. But, for the sake of keeping conflict down I'll digress and simply nod with a smile.
