Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

"What we've got here is failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach...
So, you get what we had here last week,
which is the way he wants it!
Well, he gets it!
N' I don't like it any more than you men." *
Look at your young men fighting
Look at your women crying
Look at your young men dying
The way they've always done before
Look at the hate we're breeding
Look at the fear we're feeding
Look at the lives we're leading
The way we've always done before
My hands are tied
The billions shift from side to side
And the wars go on with brainwashed pride
For the love of God and our human rights
And all these things are swept aside
By bloody hands time can't deny
And are washed away by your genocide
And history hides the lies of our civil wars

LO fucking L!
If I ever doubted you (and I don't) the stutter solidifies the story!
You HAVE to post that as an mp3 over at nicktion...you HAVE to.
Damn that guy is the most homophobic bastard I have ever seen. He hates them. Like he has room to judge. Guy is in and out of asylums and has restraining orders...but two dudes kiss and they are EVIL!

A Great Day for Freedom - Pink Floyd
"On the day the wall came down
They threw the locks onto the ground
And with glasses high we raised a cry for freedom had arrived
On the day the wall came down
The ship of fools had finally run aground
Promises lit up the night like paper doves in flight...
...Now life devalues day by day
As friends and neighbours turn away
And there’s a change that, even with regret, cannot be undone
Now frontiers shift like desert sands
While nations wash their bloodied hands
Of loyalty, of history, in shades of gray..."
Don't need Morrissey, dude

Def Leppard - Let's Get Rocked
"Seven day weekend, up all night
In at the deep end, hang on tight
It won’t take a minute, it won’t take long
So get on in it, come on, come on, come on
Let’s get, let’s get, let’s get, let’s get rocked"

I'd trade the whole album for any song from Hysteria, Pyromania and High and Dry, because I only like Bringin' On the Heartbreak from the On Through The Night album (and remember the live video shot in Colorado when they start playing that song, pause and nobody sings 'cause in the US they only knew Pyromania and Hysteria).
What's next for them: Dyphteria? Dementia?
