Yes, and I can hear it now, Robert Smith and Siousie teaming up for the gothic version of "Muskrat Love".....
EDIT:
And if Vyv really is that sensitive and is taking this personally, then he needs help. That is the biggest line of pussysnot I have ever heard.

DeathChii is so happy and nice it makes me vomit fairy dust, flowers and pink bunnies, Badteccy's just a funny cunt when he gets going, and Totschläger is a good laugh. I see humour as being substantially more important than bitching at people because they spelled a word wrong.

It's hard to help someone when they are at their low; The least he needs now is this. Though I realize no matter how much I try to defend him it isn't going to stop you... I can at least try... One day this will all be old news x]

Wow, the summer really is getting to me. Too much sun!
G.net would be like the Room of Requirement in Harry Potter...wherever you need it to be, when you need it most. Whether you need to take your mind off something and read Duckie's posts or you need help with something, Gothic.net is always there!

Where is the kitchen? Can it be a fully-stocked, top-of-the-line everything kitchen? I love to cook. Especially for other people. (No spaghetti though)
Can it be near the Library? So I can reach for a cookbook, or lounge while I wait?

People here are real, but you can only known them through virtual means.

I have often wondered...
How do people "see" Gothic.net? What is your mental picture of this place where you post?
For example,
I see Gothic.net as a gigantic castle made of gray stone on a lonely moor in a perpetual night with a full moon. Deep purple velvet drapes cover each of its six thousand mullioned windows. Six feet under the lowest sub-basement, the undead members of this site house their coffins.
And so on and so forth.
Please keep descriptions reasonable (don't be extremely vulgar).

I must say....
in response to your thread ....
i have honestly never thought about it.
but now you mention it -
...
Nope - Nothing.

Damn straight it's right next to the library. That would most certainly have to be the best place for readers with the munchies, although I believe the faire will sell plenty of gothic nourishment.

The gothic.net kitchen needs a large variety of foods, ranging from fast food to expensive ones. But there has to be a cooker, I wonder who would be best for that job?

A cook for the ravenous posters of Gnet would never be able to sleep.
I was waiting for someone to mention black pasta--thanks, Cyntrox.
As for the randomness that's been inserted here and there, well, I think that just goes to show that Gothic.net is like a giant playground.

There would have to be a massive library on this Island, where all the book readers could sit down on black and silver bean bags, and there would be a section where everyone could read together with a dukebox crammed full of Alien Sex Fiend to Switchblade Symphony. It would have a low volume as well.
Then we would need a place to put the olde faire, where there would be plenty of cutesy-spooky odds and sorts for those who are inclined towards dolls and bat plushies.
Of course, there would be a bat cave..... but it would be a grotto that had been turned into a makeshift dancefloor..... a real bat-cave. All you death rockers can piss off there and leave the book-a-holics in peace in the library.
Also, we would need a boiler room for the rivet-heads full of people for maggot to stomp on..
And of course a moonlit cemetary where Vyvian will be perched writing poems about being a goth forever...
The only other thing this place would need would be an ancient-looking chapel that has been turned into a resting-place and banqueting location where everyone would gather to talk nonsense and talk about the general hubub of life...
And lastly there would be a boating dock where I expect Jillian or someone else in his place would be sorting out the trolls from the guests and a small deserted patch of sand where the shill people can come and sit... the rest of us can just watch them from the shade of the willows that grow around our Island...
Hmmmmmm Gothic.net Island.... So picturesque...
|
I am going to draw/paint this description in the style of a map I think....

Regarding the kitchen and the cooking, since Gothic.Net is a magical place, may I request that all the food have zero calories? Please, please, pretty please?
