Who Would You Like To Sound Like?

If you could sing like anyone, who would you choose?
I would choose Dani Davey A.K.A Dani Filth.

Not hard. Just throw a cat into a blender and record it or something.

I'd like to have my own sound, but if it had to be compaired to someone I'd say Lucas Lanthier meets Olli Wisdom meets Nick Blinko with a drop of Max Freeth. Come to think of it that'd probably be impossable to achieve. If I sing, it'll sound like my own voice.

Siouxsie Sioux or Nina Hagen.

Kat Bjelland on the raw end, Loreena McKennitt on the soft end...
so probably Sinead O'Connor.

Or, for coolest voice? Natalie Merchant.

I can do two or three of his voices, not nearly as good of course, but good enough, it's not good though dude, it's so bad for your throat, Dani is losing his voice in the upper registers

Uh, most people are expecting marilyn manson, but not really, I'd want to sound like Corey Taylor actually, I love his voice

Either the singer of Voodoo Church (I can't remember her name) or Siouxsie.

Although there are moments when all I want is one of those gravel-driven, deep, girl-punk voices like Brody Dalle of the Distillers.

This is a movie, about how I, MOVIE GUY, smoke five packs of cigarettes in five minutes to get this amazingly deep voice just to describe action films or tyler perry films.

To seriously answer the question, I'm pretty proud of my voice. I'd like to have a combination of Peter Murphy, David Bowie, and... I don't know. I guess just those two with some kind of a twist.

I'd say Tom Waits, Satchmo, or Elijah Blue Allman. I already smoke as much as Tom, so I think that's the one I'll go for.

Corey Taylor is a brilliant singer, but don't forget David Draimen from Disturbed, haven't heard a better singer yet.

I'd like to sound like... ummmm.... me... ?

Seriously, I don't strive to sound like _anyone_, and doing so would just not feel right and honest. I'd better do a good *me* than a somewhat okay *Siouxsie*.

My singing voice is decent as it is; I would only want it to be more powerful so that I can have a wider variety of songs I can sing. My voice is already somewhat reminiscent of that of the lead female singer in Artemis.

Well I don't know about singing, apparently I sound like bowie when I sing and I can do a good marilyn manson if I make my voice kinda light and croaky.

But I wish I sounded like johnny depps portrayel of willy wonka or mr. teatime from the hogfather.

But I wished I talked in a fashion similair to HAL.

Sharon den Adel ... amazing voice. She sounds almost operatic.

I have a pretty good voice myself, but I can't compete with her.

Most of the time I want to sound like Nick Cave or the singer from Corpus Delecti, and then there are the lighter moments I want to sound like Andy Bell and start singing along to "Heavenly Action".

I would choose Emilie Autumn, or one of the female singers in Ram-Zet. I have a HORRIBLE singing voice, lol. It's quite terrible really.
