My classes start on Tuesday. I'm a little nervous actually. I don't really want to go to school again. I might actually be scared!

Maybe its because I'm starting college, and I feel a little out of depth.

I start at University within a month. I'm not sure exactly when, only that it's after Fresher's week, and that that commences in just under a month's time. I'm looking forward to it so much! I'm moving away from home to a completely new city (only 200 miles away!) to study drawing, basically. I'm hoping to take workshops/modules in art history or critical studies too, though I don't know whether that will be possible.

Regarding the point about incompetent/uncaring teachers, they're all too common here. When I was in year 7 of secondary school (aged 11 -12) I had a Maths teacher who treated myself and anyone else who corrected him as some kind of trouble-maker. He often made mistakes with basic arithmatic, but if you corrected him you may as well have thrown a brick at him for how he treated you. Some people who teach shouldn't be allowed to do so, because they don't know their subject well enough or because they don't know how to deal with students.

I am starting college this October. I'm pretty excited about it because I'm moving to another city that is bigger and more interesting (and really beautiful, by the way). I'm studying Translation of German language (though I also have Spanish -as mother tongue- English, French, and Japanese as free lesson -probably not this year yet-). My best friend is also moving to the same city (though she's studying Law) and so, I can say I won't feel so lonely I guess. I am pretty happy about the whole thing.

And by the way, it's a shock that Godslayer Jillian is only 18 like me...

Into my second year at university, and my course is definitely a killer. I'm glad I'm past highschool, but university is basically a different thing altogether. But, with all its ups and downs, university is still way better than highschool.

Well this year I’m hoping to get my band up and going so we actually do something other than sing covers all the time.

I start my fall semester of college on the fourth, I'm so psyched, summer semester was rather boring aside from Sociology 1, but this coming semester I have basically all music classes =)

Lucky, I wasn’t allowed to take anything to do with music. How I got away with art I don’t know.

I'll be a freshman in college starting the 5th and I am pretty excited. I mean, I'm not going to the school I wanted to go to (my own fault), but I will get involved and fuck it...I'll be transferring to an art school for vocal shit in two years or less. Besides, two of my VERY good friends (Haunted House being one of them) is going to the same place as me. I hope to do the radio station, the choral club, and SFLAG (students and friends of lesbians and gays). Wish me luck bitches!

Eh. College is okay. I like my campus; very pretty and wooded and nature-y. I also like my theatre classes.

Math can stuff itself though.

It's wierd being fresh out of high and attending classes with a lot of older people and those who don't speak English very well. Yes, it's community college, fuckers. Hey, it's like a real college but with less prestige and less variety.

The really gross part is there's a little high school inside the campus with a bunch of kids. Those little asswipes have their own food court and we don't. Arrg, we're prohibited from entering that part of the school.

I started this Tuesday, but I feel like I have too light of a load. My teachers seem nice enough so far, but its all GE. Im taking this class called Learn About Yourself Through Adventure, and Im really excited. Its pretty much an easy A, we get graded on camping, rock climbing, and the like. Nothing to do with my Journalism major, but exciting none the less.
