Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Well, at the moment i am listenning to my mother yell at her boss on the phone, but before that i was listening to a mix of songs from
marilyn manson,
cradle of filth,
theatre of tragedy,
blind guardian,
lacuna coil,
lacrimas profundre,
some russian bands and
mercyful fate ( does anyone know this band? i found their cd "don't break the oath" in a tree in a park and realized that theyare really cool...)

Yes, Mercyful Fate have been around since the early eighties and are fronted by King Diamond (heavy metal legend). Dont Break The Oath is probably their best CD alongside 'Melissa'.

In A Manner Of Speaking - Nouvelle Vague (cover of Tuxedomoon [by M.Gore, later in Depeche Mode])
"...In a manner of speaking I just want to say
That I could never forget the way
You told me everything
By saying nothing
In a manner of speaking I don’t understand
How love in silence becomes reprimand
But the may I feel about you is beyond words...
...In a manner of speaking Semantiks won't do
In this life that we live we only make do
And the way that we feel might have to be sacrificed
So in a manner of speaking
I just want to say
That like you I should find a way
To tell you everything
By saying nothing..."

Truce - Dresden Dolls
"...you call it over and i call you psycho
significant other? just say we were lovers!
And we'll call it even, we'll call it even.
I am the ground zero ex-friend you ordered
Disguised as a hero to get past your borders
I know when I'm wanted I'll leave if you ask me to
Mind my own business and speak when I'm spoken to
I am the tower around which you orbited
I am not proud, I am just taking orders
I fall to the ground within hours of impact
I hit back when hit and attack when attacked!
...
...I am an accident waiting to happen
I'm laughing like mad as you strangle the captain
My place may be taken, but make no mistake
From a little black box I can say without shame
That you've lost
Do you know what you've lost?
So take whatever you'd like
I'll strike like the States on fire
You won't sleep very tight
No hiding
No safe covers
Make your bed and now lie
Just like you always do
You can fake it for the papers but I'm on to you...."
