I'll be getting my sweeties on the way home. At home, of course, I shall have a big helping of a pasta carbonara bake with extra bacon, fresh from the oven.

It is a remarkably easy state of being to get used to. Don't worry about it.

What a wonderful day. This morning we started work with a 'breakfast meeting', which means we basically did absolutely nothing but eat and talk nonsense. I got to the office about half an hour ago, and we break again for an hour lunch in 20 minutes time.
man, dis lekker by die stadsraad...

lol @ "man, dis lekker by die stadsraad"
At least it's not "man, dis lekker in die army"
I've got to babysit an underage gothling at a weekend-long Woodstock-esque thing aptly named "Woodstock" this weekend. Urgh, not quite sure I'm in the mood for it.

Oh, I wish something like that would open near me!! Even toyed with the idea of opening an occult bookstore, but the whole you-must-have-money-to-borrow-money think raised its ugly head. Just as well. My luck I'd be run outta town by the Fundies.

Funny, I just cleaned everything around here too. Utterly boring, it was.
No guests though. *mutters*

If you have no guests, you're welcome to join us. I have malibu rum, cheap kirsch, and baileys irish cream, and will be making the best plate of nachos and cheese you'll ever have (I get the cheese/nacho ratio just right, and don't let the cheese burn in the oven). We have every console from the Atari Jaguar (with developers kit) to the Nintendo Wii, but no other next-gen consoles yet. We have a dreamcast in its big metal shop stand, an X-box which has been modded so heavily that it's got more memory than my last computer (and more movies and music, too!), and more!
And, of course, a lot of games for all of our consoles.

I live with two guys, one of whom studies Computer Science (and was coding in assembly as part of the Jaguar demoscene for fun long before he started uni), and the other studies Electronic Systems and Engineering, but prefers Warhammer.
This is the geek house.
