You're either goth or you're not goth, you can't just be sort of goth. Considering it is the music that makes the difference as to whether you're goth or not you in particular are not goth. But you can be willing to learn, we have an excellent re-education program. Welcome.

I disagree with that. It sort of implies that if you dont listen exclusively to goth rock you cant be a goth. Also, liking some goth rock could be said to make you "sort of goth."

I'd make a more convincing arguement but I have a pounding headache.

Anyway, welcome Paperclip

Goth or not, Placebo are mighty good.

Bleh I was hoping it was implied that it's ok to listen to other genres and still be goth. I was merely stating that you have to listen to at least a little goth music in order to be goth.

In Romania they speak Latin. They don't call it Romania for laughs, Regnatus. Unless the laughs are directed at people like you who can't figure that out for themselves, in which case my entire theory could fall into question. So, yeah, they don't call it Romania for laughs.

So it is written in the Uncle-cyclopedia Smoov

The real answer to that question is "Romanian", the oft overlooked fifth romance language.

At the risk of sounding like a nitpicking dweeb, unless you've designated a specific number to each Romance language, you're undershooting the number a little. Besides Spanish, Italian, French, Romanian, and Portuguese, there are tons of less-broadly spoken Romance languages such as Catalan, Occitan, Sardinian, and about a trillion more that I don't know about.

Yeah romanian sounds like latin since we have roman influences but our original "fathers" are the Dacs(they come from Dacia)..I don't know this word in english.T_T...

Hmm...about the goth music...I listened to one band I don't think it counts since I only listened them for their sound and not message. It's a japanese band(please don't kill me) D'espairs ray, their sound is nice even though I don't understand crap of their lyrics. But I presume this is as goth as I ever got when it came to music. In romania is realy hard if your goth. People are so smallminded...and most of the people I saw in here that "looked goth" are usualy wannabes. In here it's all a BIG fashion statement. It can get a bit disturbing when you see people walking around like sheeps but neah...whatever.

Thank you all for the warm welcome and I hope I'll enjoy my stay here ^^
