I just watched the Number 23 last night, thank God for cereal and Gash.
Oh, and I should add, I was quite disappointed with the sex scenes....so I replaced them with an amateur porn site.
Overall, the film was worth my low attention span.

Had to sit through Juno. Worst movie ever. The script was so horrid that I strongly believe you would require being hit in the head with a shovel to write it. Last movie was Audition, though. I loved it, definitely not for the faint-hearted. Takashi Miike is a genius.

Just saw the American adaptation of the EYE. I thought it was rather, ok. To put it in better terms; it was way better than I thought it was going to be.

Funny Games. Very fine German film that has some hints of existentialism in it.

The 1993 (1995?) adaptation? It was terrible! But that was because I read and loved the book. Casting Helena Bonham Carter as Elizabeth was beyond atrocious, and the fact Robert Deniro was the monster made me laugh even harder. There wasn't a scene involving the monster I didn't imagine Deniro stone-faced, glaring and saying, "What'd you say, Focker?"
However, even though it was only loosely based on the actual novel, I did enjoy the 1931 film production of Frankenstein, featuring Boris Karloff.
Sigh.
You'd think it'd kill Hollywood to make a faithful adaption of Shelley's brilliant novel.

I recently watched Interview with the Vampire, and then Queen of the Damned. I fell in love with Lestat in Interview with the Vampire.

Went to see Juno last night.
I must say I fucking loved it.
Might have something to do with Ellen Page, she was amazing in Hard Candy.

This weekend I saw 300 in the IMAX theatre (how fucking awesome was that!!!)
And the next day went to see 1408. Which was a complete let-down.

Note's on a Scandal - It's with Judi Dench, Cate Blanchette, and Bill Nighy. GREAT movie! It's about two teachers (one that becomes obsessed with female co-workers and wants to be their only friend - Judi Dench) and the other who just started at the school (Cate Blanchette), and starts to have an affair with a student who's 15, who also becomes the center of the obsessive teachers affections. It came out on DVD a few months ago I believe.

I saw the Shipwreck Chronicles this weekend. I give it a 6. It was not as fantasy focused as I thought it would have been.
