Ive been looking all over the place for a coat I want from ..i think tripp?

..id provide a link, but i cant because im new here. :P
Does anyone know the [given] name of this?
or maybe someone could perhaps aid me in my triumphant search? xD

Uhh. No Tripp kthxbai. But, seriously, search thrift stores and stuff, you can find a lot of good, decently priced things there. Tripp, you pay for all of the crap and you may find that you're happier with a good quality, but plain, trench.

Red Balls Clothing is better than Tripp.
Hell, if you HAVE to buy pre-made American goth clothing that would be next to any H&M, go with Red Balls or Lip Service.
If you want something TRULY beautiful...

....the prices....geez.
I don't see the problem if someone likes something by a certain brand, mainstream or not. As long as you're not buying stuff exclusively from that brand, there really is no problem.

I know. Alas, I've yet to see something from Tripp that wasn't overly tacky unless it was very minimal in design.

I really love this outfit. I stumbled upon this page a while ago and completely forgot about it. I think I'll buy this outfit for my company xmas party:

*dies at the prices* They're even more expensive than my local(ish) goth/fetish store back home.
But I LOVE the Demonia blouse. *looks more and wishes for a sewing machine and better sewing skills*

Although the prices are high, I can understand. A lot of the stuff in the catalogue is custom made to order.

Regardless of whether one does or does not like the look or image associated with Tripp NYC one cannot deny that the quality is pretty much shit. Back when I was in a spooky kid phase I had three different pairs of Tripp NYC pants and every single one is torn to shreds from everyday wear.

Like my pants! But I also think it helps that I don't wear them every single god damned day. (That's what my generic old navy jeans are for!)

Absolutely, and Kambriel is both wonderful at what she does, as well as a great person. It's worth the extra money just knowing you're supporting someone who actually is involved in, and cares about the scene.

Tripp pants are horrible. They make me cry when I see them (everyday) and the 16 pairs, yes 16!! that my boyfriend owns are all shredded at the bottom. They're so cheap quality, and expensive for that quality...

I like Tripp clothing... I think a lot of their stuff looks really cool.

My blue jeans shred at the bottom too. I think that's not from the quality, but from the length. Any pair of pants that I've ever worn, if it touches the ground, will eventually shred apart.
Then again, with my jeans it doesn't look that bad.
Anyway.
Google, Mother Fucker do you use it?
Edit: And yes, they may be used. It may be the best you'll get.

Here, here. Tripp clothing doesn't last maybe what 3 months depending on how often you were them. Your lucky if you can keep your self from getting caught on something.
I only have one pair from them and they are faded and the bottoms are all shredded. I had to sew on the stuff if it came off till I finally snaped and cut off everything from the pants till they became a pair of regular black pants.
I learned my lesson....never again, will I buy from them. >.>

I only own one pair of Tripp pants. Minimalistic, tight corsety ones. They've lasted me years and are in perfect condition.

Kambriel's prices aren't that bad considering the amount of work that goes into them, they truly are works of art.
I agree that Tripp clothing is usually tacky but thankfully around here it's fairly rare because it's so expensive. All the "goth" shops around here are insanely expensive because EVERYTHING is imported.

I have plenty of Tripp stuff... and it seems pretty durable. Seeing as I'm pretty hard on clothes. Stuff I got from RR has shredded on the bottom.. kinda pissed me off. Oh well.
The Tripp ones I have though are still pristine, and when I wash em in Zero Dark, they come out jet black again. So its all good.
I have a Tripp Trench, and I love it.... I always get people asking me what church I work for though,

You bumped a thread that was over 16 months old to reply to a member with only 10 posts and no avatar. Way to go. You're goth because you like digging in graveyards, right?
