Yeah for the longest time I was fighting it. I mean I looked at a guy and went yummy then scolded myself internally. I thought it was just a phase. One day in English class of eleventh grade, I noticed myself staring at my friend Alfredo in the same way I stared at my girlfriend-at-the-time. Then I started thinking and I remembered feeling this before with another friend of mine. Every time I was around them I couldn't keep my damned hands off him! So I decided to talk to Chris (NachtSorcier) and he brought up a lot of good points. For the week following that conversation, I was thinking about my silly same sex celebrity crushes, and my deep emotional and physical attraction to Alfredo. Eventually I just accepted it, I am "bisexual". I do preffer women, greatly, but I am attracted to men as well. The Kinsey scale, which Chris showed me, puts me at about a two. I truly love the ********************* definition of Bisexuality, "the ability to reach into someone's pants and be happy with whatever you find." To me, love is love, sex is sex, neither give a damn about gender.

I agree.
Labels.. well, they ARE useful. However, I don't know what label you'd put on me. Bi, weird, whatever. I wouldn't have sex with a guy, but I'd kiss him.
Also, I'd like every kind of intimacy I could get, just not sex.
Does that sound weird?

In fact that sounds LESS weird. I always get troubled about my open actitude, I never being or kissed, or wanted to be, sexually, with a guy, but I never act "hysterically" about it. I think people FEEL and is not so important how you have sex as how you fall in love.
The sex is influenced by so many things, we all experiment things and situations that exited us, even if we dont totally, morally, etc agree with them, but being exited is not being in love, and want to have sex with "that ass" "that tits" can be really called more important or deep than being in love or being exited by a particular PERSON.
What I mean is, what if you fall for a deformed person? or a invalid? or a dwarf? or and older or younger? and finally.. some one of you same sex? is not so hard to understand that Im open to something like that happend to me, because I give more importance to the person, of course looks play its part, but come on! drunk we all fuck a pile of cloth... and that doesnt make us "bi" lol.
Try to live your live and worry about important things, autolevel your self, or auto stablish some limits in your head is not goint to help. You dont become catholic because you went to church once, and dont matter what people say, you are not bi or gay because you have sex, thats a very posser way of see it. Gay people are much much more commited to its likes, and a bi is a very open and constant person about that likes...
If you ARE something you dont need to confirm it or try to demostrate it, you just are. Im only tring to avoid the part in wich you become something because "you think", "people says", etc.

I never identify myself to people as bi, but I have had relationships (not just fooled around with) both genders. I agree that it is less about the gender and more about the person. I am normally physically attracted more to guys and have dated more guys than girls. But I also have had intense emotional connections with girls and been attracted to a fair number.
But I am always slightly shy when it comes to labelling myself gay, bi or straight. I was known as a "lesbian" in high school simply because I was an outspoken feminist even though I dated mostly guys. (Many people didn't know about my girlfriend, but that was due to her discomfort with "going public". She was still struggling with some identity issues.)
But I accept the fact that I am attracted to both genders and may also be happy having a relationship with both at the same time, if both partners are open to it. I had what began as a threesome and changed into a three-person-relationship for four months last year. Although it ended, I am still very close with the female..1/3 of the relationship, I guess you could call it, and still dating the male 1/3.

I envy women in their open way they can work arround girlfriends, the situation seems to be different when the 1/3 is a man, not a women.
If you are a GUY then is not so easy to come arround the idea that your girlfriend wants to see other men.
If you are a GIRL then is not so easy to come arround the idea that your boyfriend wants to see other men.
Probably this is just because I´m a man lol but the penetration issue, between man and woman seems to have some importance. The idea of having sex between two women and one man looks less tabu and probably is just that...

Well, we did have a strict rule of no sex while we were fooling around. I had started out just dating the guy and then we brought our mutual friend into it. But he wasn't comfortable sleeping with her, too many jealousy issues that could arise. So whenever he and I wanted to actually fuck we had to finish with her and then go off and do our thing. It worked out fairly well, not sure I would recommend it for just anyone though. It takes even more work and maturity than a normal relationship.

Why is it that I find a lot of this "bi" talk to be offensive?
You know what... fuck it. Fuck orientations and fuck what anyone would think they would know about it. If you are seriously going to ignore your feelings you have in the name of remaining straight, gay, or bi, then you're just limiting yourself.
If one day, you feel like sucking some dick while being a straight guy, then fucking do it. In the morning, your actions wont justify what you feel inside.
I'm more surprised that people are making such a huge fucking deal about this shit. Hey, if someone says they're bi and only makes out with you, take it for what it's worth. At least you got some. Jesus.

No, man. I'm dead serious. So it's "in" to be bi. Who gives a god damn? How do you know? Seriously? Oh, someone says they're bi, but they aint fucking you? Maybe it's because you come off as ugly to them? Maybe you're not their cup of tea? MAYBE, just MAYBE they've just came out of the closet and aren't used to the homosexual or heterosexual interactions and don't know how to conduct themselves. Did anyone EVER give that a thought? OR are we just too damn wrapped up about being pissed cause it's "cool" to be bi.
Fuck it, if I had my druthers, I'd rather be gay. But I'm not. But if I don't want to sleep with you, I suppose it'd be best to be the orientation that wouldn't sleep with you, because apparently being bisexual means you're a liar/attention whore, or a slut.
People... let it fucking go. God damn. Some of you act like your feelings are hurt because people wont "prove" their orientation to you.
Fuck it. It was easier being gay. It was easier being straight. Just fuck it.

Yeah, you're right. I AM upset. I'm tired, man. I'm tired of it. Yes, people make it cool to be bi, but it's not. Especially this stigma.
I can count on one hand the number of people I completely trust to sleep with and 3 of them are girls and the other two are guys.
I'm sorry to be blowing up on total strangers. It's not you guys entirely. But when I start to see other bisexuals hating on other bisexuals, it's fucking disgusting.
I've been dealing with this kind of shit for... fuck... as long as I can remember. I don't even remember which gender I was "naturally" born to be attracted to. But to be straight or even be gay feels like a god damned compromise to me. If this thread was a real conversation, I probably wouldn't have said anything. I probably would have just walked out the door. Again, sorry for going off, people. I guess I just needed to vent or have someone hear me out.

I dont have sex with anyone guy or girl. And people ask me how I know im not just straight or not just gay. And I dont know how they cant understand that I dont have to fuck someone to knwo that I want to be with them....

It is easier to just be gay, or just be straight. I came out to my friend who's a lesbian and she got all pissed off at me, saying I was a poser. In truth, I'd had a crush on her for quite some time. Is it wrong that I have the capacity to love someone, no matter what's in their pants? Bi may be the "in" thing, but for those of us who actually feel what we say . . . It pisses me off. Kontan, I hear what your saying. People assume I'll just do anything with anybody! I'm currently dating a guy, but if we ever broke up I know that I that I would probably date a woman. Like someone said earlier; I tend to date men more than women, but I connect more when I'm with a woman. My parents are very accepting, but I have yet to tell them that I identify as bisexual.

I am bi, my fiance is bi, it would make for great threesomes if I could share him..
Personally though.. what REALLY gets me.. gay goth boys. Kett in Gypsy? Ohhhhhhhh... *orgasms*
I have a thing for pretty goth boys.. oh yes..
Edit: I wish I could find a girl I was really into.. I am REALLY picky about my women..

Bisexuality is just as valid an orientation as any other. Sure, a few people 'pretend' for attention or shock value, but who the fuck cares? I'd rather bisexuality be cool than homophobia. I do believe in the spectrum though - most people will swing in one direction more than the other, and I've noticed a lot end up 'choosing a side' eventually.
I'm definitely straight myself... I've kissed a girl once and that was enough for me. I like my partners feminine, but still male.

Yes, but the rub is this. What DOES that imply, Circero? I'm not trying to call you gay or bi or anything, but I'm of the mind to think everyone is willing to go the other direction if certain conditions were met.
I like femm guys, but not really drag queens. I like masculine girls, it seems.
My attraction is right in the middle it appears. Manly men and girly girls are just too.... meh.

lol, yeah it becomes an issue when people start putting other people down, hey i support you all the way its your choice what you fell comfortable with, and the people who tell you your wrong and bad really just dont understand what it feels like on the other side of the tracks, I can't fully call myself bi because im really not sure if I would really do anything with a guy, but It is something i might want to try so maybe I'm just Bi-Curious, but I don't know why everytime someone brings up a sexual issue like, Sexual prefrance or the "Big bad" abortion issue that it always ends up in a heated argument i guess its because of the fact that is what we used to do all the time just to survive was repopulate.... but im not gonna go into another history lesson again just to prove a point, but yeah dont worry about what people say about you, its all up to you...

Apparently it is. I hadn't heard either.
I've never heard of people of the same sexuality putting each other down.
All I know about sexuality is from my own personal experiences, the experiences I've heard from my friends on either side of the spectrum and what I've read about and researched. Apparently, I've missed something.
Ultimately, I'm of the mind that it doesn't matter what's in the pants. If you love them- love them. Pants contents is just a bonus.

Dax... I'm compelled to hug you. I think it's partly because you have been slightly absent from G.net or I've just been dead to the world in general as of late.
*hugs*
