Physically impossible.

I'm not here to back-up my beliefs. I believe what I do, as you believe what you do. You don't see me pushing at you because of your beliefs, whatever they may be; no, I'm pushing at you because you blasted my religion, and I took offense.

Originally no I did not blast your religion.
All I did was say that I hated it.
That's an opinion.
If you truly have respect for people's opinions then that should not bother you.

I perceived it as an attack because you outright said you hated it, and you didn't give a solid reason to support your opinion; that's what offended me. I don't care if you disagree with my beliefs, but I don't like how you based your opinions of every Christian off of the bad ones you'd encountered when you were younger.
I'm tired of being clumped together with the extremists, and it plucked my nerves.

I suppose I can agree with that.
Not all Christians are like the "shove religion down your throat" kind.
Although, It's hard for me to be un-biased considering the fact that I have never talked to a non-extremist Christian...well until now that it is.
I think it's just as unfair for you to be cursing at me for an opinion as it is for me to attack your religion though.

Well said, and I'm sorry for lashing out on you. Like I said, I've grown very weary with being labeled as an "extremist" by those who don't agree with my religion, which is fine.
I was merely irked, but I've simmered down.

Okay.
Understandable.
I myself am tired of being accused of worshipping Satan every 2.5 seconds.
so I know how people are with that sort of thing.
So internet fight officially over.

Yes it is, and now that we've met on civil ground, I'll take the time to welcome you to the forum, as I don't believe I've seen you around here before.
And you're not the only one; I am, too, often deemed a worshiper of the Devil by people.

a couple days ago someone was like, "what do you gothic people do?"
and I was like "Pretty much the same thing as you do, dumbass"
I'm guessing he assumed it was Satanic Rituals and Blood Drinking.

I was once asked if I ate babies and drank sheep's blood... and the girl was dead serious about it, too. That was what made it so amazingly hilarious.

Yeahh, little things like laughing or dirty looks piss me off, but when a person is genuinely terrified of me...I just find that hilarious.
I say if the way someone dresses bothers you that much, it's you that has the problem.

She sat on a spermy chair and tripped on acid. There are 1,001 ways to get preggers without intercourse, and 1,002 ways to hear the voice of god. Pick and choose your physical proof, or acept the story on faith.
The Christian faith is just that- a faith. Not a fact. It is not a religion that requires proof, just acceptance of a few core tenets. If you believe, then you do not require "physical proof" of something that happened around 2000 years ago.
Most religions require huge leaps of faith, if they were all steeped in the known and proveable, there would not be so many religious wars.
Most people, religioned or not, live their lives under the radar, day to day. Don't let the 1% extremist pisswallows get to you.

Immortal, you're being a total asshole, and acting extremely stupidly.
Oh yeah, where's that proof about the non-existence of God? I'd love to see that.

Religions can't be proven, nor can they be disproven. That's why people BELIEVE in things or don't. We can't prove anything. I am an atheist, but can I prove there is no higher power? Upon attempting to do so I would be laughed at. Why? Because that is so very, very stupid.

Okay, this is total bullshit.
Apparently all this site is for is a bunch of easily-offended assholes/bitches who can't deal with someone not liking their insanely idiotic religion.
Also, I really didn't expect that there would be so many Christians on a Horror site. I mean really, aren't you people supposed to be about love and all that shit?
Yeahhh, Horror has a lot to do with love.
You can call me ignorant, bigot, asshole, whatever. I don't care beause I'm not the one throwing my life away trying to get to a "heaven" that doesn't exsist.
I'm not the one that's a slave to some 2000 year old bastard child and an extremely contradictory book. Needless to say I am referring to the Bible.
I think all of you are annoyed because their is no true place for Christianity in anything dark or non-conformist.
First off, Noah's Ark
How did all those animals possibly reach the Ark?
Even with the possible exsistence of land bridges and or Pangea it is basically impossible.
Secondly, Moses
That story is absolutely chocked full of insanites.
Such as The Burning Bush, Parting an ocean, a stick turning into a snake.
Third, Jesus and the "miracles"
Healing by touch, turning water into wine, etc.
IMPOSSIBLE!
I could go on and on although I am through wasting my time with you touchy christian idiots.
Have fun worshipping your insane idiot bastard child and his non-exsistent father.
and finally, FUCK YOU ALL

But you can't prove any of that. All of those things would normally be impossible, the point is with God they aren't.
And for the record, I'm not Christian. So even someone who isn't Christian can see how lame you're acting.

You may not be a Christian, but you're obviously easily offended or you would not be defending Christianity like you are.

I'm not very easily offended, I just don't like it when people randomly go off on things they clearly know very little about.
And.
I like to defend things being picked on, especially if it's a thing that gives tons of people hope and joy.

Okay, I take back all the things I said last night. You really are an asshole.
Get used to it. There are Christians who're goths like myself, and whether you like it or not is your problem. I'm not shoving my religion down your throat, that wouldn't be right, just as how you're bashing my religion based on your personal bigotry isn't right. What gives you the right to sit here and talk trash about Christianity? It's one thing if you present a valid argument to debate it, but all you're doing is spitting out a bunch of bullshit based on your personal bias and beliefs.
I'm sorry you were treated so badly by Christians during your younger years, but can you really blame them after all the crap you keep saying about it?
Goodness.
What did you expect from people when you posted this thread? That all of them would give you an e-pat and congratulate you for it? Geez.

Why would you want to defend something that gives people joy?
People do not deserve joy, they deserve misery and death and pain.

Wow, so we should all be miserable? I don't think that'd be a very wonderful world to live in. If you haven't noticed, people tend to act negatively to those with attitudes like that. If we truly were meant to be miserable our entire life, wouldn't we be moping right alongside the miserable person instead of trying to either cheer them up, or isolate them?
More so, why would you defend something that makes you miserable?

I don't like being miserable, I like living in reality.
To me believing in God etc. is just living in a damn fantasy world!
I don't want that at all.
