Your first gothic party

When and where was it?

What did you wear and drink?

Who invited you?

Hmm. I think it would either have to be Halloween of '06 or failing that when we went to Slimelight in the summer for our Emily Strange's Society Of Strange meeting thing and we all went to the Slimelight club in London and a good time was had by all.
Because you see, being such a Johnny No Friends like myself, I find it very hard to A) Get invited to parties and B) Finding anyone who actually likes Goth Rock to throw such a party.

But anyway.

1334... it's a deathrock club night, not a party, so I wasn't really 'invited'. It was a few months back and once a month since in the city (Melbourne). I wore a DIY-ed Specimen top, leather-ish skirt and ripped up tights, and I drank way too much absinthe and zombie cocktails.

The subsequent 1334 nights have been some of the best of my life. The best club in Australia, by far.

First gothic party I went to was in San Antonio.
I joined a maling list called S.A. Goths and I found out about it.
So I bought some clothes at the local hot topic and asked my brother
to give me a lift. It was a halloween night. I was the shy goth but
I instantly met people and made cool friends...

I've not been to one. But I am young yet! Besides, there are no Goths around here and I live in the middle of nowhere. Yes, Middle-of-Nowhere, TX. I hate it.

Same here. My brother has 'parties' but its more like 7 guys and 2 chicks getting VERY stoned. And I ususally end up baby-sitting a 15-year-old boy and all of his friends.

Exile Louisville KY.

It was a club more than a party. I'm going to throw my own goth BBQ soonish since the weather is kinda nice.

Anyway, I don't remember what I wore. It was more of an Industrial club anyway. I probably wore a pair of black slacks, a poet shirt, and my red velvet frock coat.

em... probably Cornucopia in Northern Ireland, back when Libitina or Pro-jekt or someone like that was playing. But that's a club. Probably drinking jack daniels, goldschlager, southern comfort, jaegermeister, or any number of other noxious drinks.
First goth 'party' was either my birthday, when everyone cross-dressed and a friend and I left our boyfriends making out downstairs while we went to eat chocolates.... or it was an after-party post-Cornucopia. In which case I was probably wearing black jeans and a fishnet/mesh shirt. With suitably modest black underneath, of course. Cheap staple of the clubbing wardrobe. Either way, drinking whatever happened to be in the house and could be made into interesting cocktails or used in drinking games.

I've also never been to one. I decided in high school that I hate parties, although it probably had more to do with the people than the parties. There was no "goth scene" when I was in school, nor is there one now, in the rural Ontario region where I live.

I've never been to one, strange really.
I've seen some good goth bands live, even been to some 'goth' night clubs (doesn't that sound like an oxymoron? I mean the use of the words 'goth' and 'night club' in the same sentance).
I've started a goth band aswell, but never been to a goth party.
