I like a lot of their stuff. My all-time favorite is "The Trooper".

They were my favourite band a few years ago, and I still like them quite a bit.

Yes, yes you are.
But seriously, this thread is pointless.

No, he's not. And this thread's no more pointless than the dozens of other "Do you like ____?" threads that pop up.

I listen to Maiden every other week. Its an on/off thing. I used to be a huge fan of the band, but lately haven't listened to much of them.

Iron Maiden has good guitarists but single handedly the worst singer of all time

I used to be crazier about them than I am now. That's mainly b/c I haven't really picked up a disc of their's since Fear of the Dark!
As a bass player, trying to work up to speed one of their songs is a great workout. Sad to say the only song I've gotten 98% up to speed is Wrathchild. At this point I pretty much crash & burn after a certain speed on most of their songs.

As for their singer being "worst of all time"?
That's just crazy talk if you have a listen to the guy from System of A Down. In a word: "YIKES!"

I saw them at Reading Festival....I sat at the back of the crowd....with a beer....then after 20 minutes, I left.

They're not that good, but legends in their own right.

I like iron maiden, the medieval torture device, but I've never heard a single song by the band. Isn't filling up threads with replies that have nothing to do the topic fun?

Or how about that horrible pile of dog shit Glen Danzig and his amazingly terrible voice! But Maiden still belongs on the list.

I like them a lot. An good (if not exceptionally talented) example of operatic male vocals in (excuse me) mainstream music. Bass and guitars for Maiden rock. Nuf said.

You just insulted all of Opera, and all mainstream music

I still listen to them occasionally. My favorites are still "Afraid to shoot strangers" and "The Clairvoyant".

Paschendale for me. Excellent song, very touching.
Or some good old lively, silly, crowd-pleasing stuff like Number of the Beast.
