Hello
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job) Job...Sculptor. Hobbies...whatever I am in the mood for at the time. Reading, playing Everquest, playing with hairstyles. Shopping. I suppose travel could be a hobby, I live on a mountain so have to get out often. Elaborate cooking.
2. Where are you from? Texas
3. Who is your favorite author? Leonard Cohen
4. What are your favorite films? Wings of Desire, Man facing Southeast, Untitled 37.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding? I already had my wedding and no music.
6. At your funeral? That occasion would require dead silence.
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die? Any way that I would not see it coming, not realize it happening and not feel it. In other words, just suddenly drop dead seems a great option.
8. What kind of casket would you want? Hand carved Ebony lined with deep green taffeta fabric.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit? Just one? I guess my knee length victorian cut black and white tweed skirt, with a black lace shirt that has sleeves that flare out and end mid-hand. With black seam back stockings and my black "pixie shoes" as my husband calls them.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid? Believing in the unbelievable.
11. What's your favorite band? The Legendary Pink Dots.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major? BFA is Painting, MFA is Sculpture. Some additional study in Aesthetics.
13. Why did you join? I seem to have just stumbles in here this morning.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender? Female

Welcome to the boards!!!
I have to agree with DepthsofSpace in that you do sound like an interesting and sophisticated person.
Unfortunately art hates me so I doubt that I will do well in taking that for university.

Hi BlackRose...nice to meet you!
It is probably not unfortunate at all if Art hates you. The world would be quite boring if we all shared the exact same interests and talents. I am sure that whatever you study, you will be able to choose the best path for yourself and move forward from there.

That's a good point. The only form of art that I love and am actually good at is music.
I'm planning on doing something that sounds boring to the max. Accounting. But I also want to major in English Literature or German. lol..

Thanks for the welcome everyone.
ForgetThisLostLenore, I grew up in Dallas. Left for college in 1990 (most of my family is still in Dallas) and I moved back to Texas for graduate school just north of the Dallas area and I am now in a small art town in far southwest Texas in the high desert mountains.

Ah, ok. Everyone seems to be from west Texas, or around it.
