Sorry, Al, there's only so much I'd put up with for a pretty face.

My offer still stands to take her and her youngin up to Mt St Helens. It's supposed to be clear weather Thursday. The sooner the better, since they are talking about it going off again soon.
I know that area like the back of my hand. I've been to the north (best) side numerous times, south (I'[ve climbed it twice, hiked in the Ape Caves and gone to Windy Ridge which is also on the north side, but only accessible from the south) so I make a helluva tour guide up there. Both my sister and my ex always said I should make a living out of giving tours up there, because I know all the technical data too, like how tall it was before hand, after, etc.
Me myself, I found out Saturday from our doctor that my surgery was to save use of my left arm, and NOT to relieve the pain in my neck and shoulder. See, I thought something was wrong because the pain is as bad as it was prior to the surgery, so all I have to show for it is a nasty scar that a Walgreen's girl yesterday said looked sexy. According to my doc, only 20% of people get relief after back surgeries, 60% feel the same (pain), and w00t there is a 20% chance the pain will be worse! And according to him, it seems I am ain the 60% range, so I am stuck with it for life. He put me on oxy contin (EPS and I are on oxycodone) which is the same thing just a higher dosage than the 5mgs we get because it's time released. This means I only have to take one pill twice a day instead of two every four to six hours (eight a day). He also gave me the regular oxycodones to take until the contin gets built up in my system, and for "breakthru" pain.
Even with that, I'm doing okay. ^_^

today I start classes here at Christopher Newport but I moved in last Tuesday and I've been having way too much fun, I have gotten into a bad habit of coming back to my room at about 8 in the morning which I don't think I'll be able to do when I have to be in class at 10...on Tuesdays and Thursdays I think it would be fine since I don't start classes until 1 on those days

Today I went to the National Gallery to see the Renaissance in Florence exhibit, and then I had some ice cream, and I worked on knitting my scarf, and I painted some of a pict of a dragonfly.

lol Yeah, the art was nice. And knitting is relaxing. One should really try it.
Today I got a filling. *looks embarassed* I also got up at 12:30. And I finished my dragonfly painting.

The greenesss does indeed rock.
And I, in othetr news, have decided that I really will not miss my mother's fashion advice when I leave. At all. She has htis way of being so blindingly stupid or clever that it hurts no matter what her tone is, and there's no way I can deal with it without needing to take a deep breath and curse copiously at some point.
And this was just an arguement over clothes. I can't imagine what telling her I'm leaving next wednesday's goign to be like.

I have realized that, in order to put CBRs in my non-visible piercings, I shall need assistance.
This means going to my piercer, givng him puppy eyes and then hoping I can get them back out on my won.
Or train my boyfriend to not pull on the piercing while removing it. It could be semi-erotic!
also, I've decided to leave behind my computer because my ssiter needs it more. I shall miss it. *sniffle*
EDIT: NEvermind, got the litlte buggers in. Hopefully I can get them back out! Also, verticle piercings and CBRs dont' really look quite as good.
maybe I'll get them horizontally pierced as well.

This is going to sound stupid, but I make a what-to-do list...
The problem is: I never do everything, since I'm a lazy bum. Blah.
Nice photo, edible_eye!
