Hm.... Never really noticed this thread or knew what it was until now, but hey, better late than never, right? I'm from Pleasant Hill, CA, about 30 mins. NE of San Fransisco, but I'm originally from Willits, CA, a little hick town in northern California.

Wow, a close one! We're relativly close, compared to the rest of the people on this forum. Call me dorky, but I find it kind of neat. Driving distance. Of course, I do have to work on the whole license thing...which I'm slowly plugging away at.

Ah yes, I remember those times . . . if you live in the country, then just drive around, anyway. The license is easy enough to get later, too, and the permit consists of taking a written test.

Born in Quito, Ecuador, but have no memory of it -- we left when I was 2 and moved to Asuncion, Paraguay.

I'd reccomend Santa Cruz, I've lived in the Bay Area for six months, and I'm allready ready to split..... unfortunately, I'm stuck here for as long as my job decides to keep me here
