Don't think of issues as an ordered list in which one thing has to be solved first before moving on to the next one. All must be attacked at the same time, because it's not just independent issues some people whine about every now and then; it's the progress of society with all those little hindrances that stop it from being better.

In Vermont it's not illegal to go around naked. You can if you want.

So I see sometimes around here.

But I think anyone should feel free to do what they want. They want to flaunt what they got, go for it. Or if it's for being comfortable. Yeah.

Anywho, I suppose. It's the way we as people have developed, we evolved in a different way. We should all get a giant group of thousands of people nude running into cities protesting against clothes.

Well, there's always that one photographer that takes picture of nude crowds.

That logic is kinda bad. **** is very rarely a sexual thing. **** is about power to the one that does it most often.

But hey, I can control my actions. I can respect others weather they're clothed or naked. Hell, I must be some shinning example of humanity and male kind because apparently, I know how to keep my dick in my pants.

To all the nay sayers, I find your reasons, most of them, to be insulting on the grounds that you're assuming that most people's behaviors need to be controlled in some way.
I have plenty faith in you to control yourself, it's the rest of humanity I'm worried about.

Non-sexual eh? Run me fair odds on who's going to be ***** first walking around in the streets of East Los Angeles at one in the morning, a two hundred pound, butt ugly woman with moles and a bad tan, or a slim, gorgeous, toned shirtless twenty year old woman .

Personally, I think it's positively tasteless, but that's me.

I personally think people need to wear tops in daily situations for either gender. If it's the beach I don't honestly care, but if it's a mall, I care.

Let's just say this works out, and women are legally allowed to walk around topless. Do you think many will? Do you think any will? What good would it do? What is the advantage? Honestly this subject is just needless.

I think that when it's made legal, only the desperate sluts will go topless at first. Gradually, society would come to accept toplessness on women, but it would take time to overcome our puritan values. Personally, I think most women who were a B or larger would choose to at least wear some supportive undergarment. It hurts to run or jump without one! With christians running our country it will never happen, but the subject does make for some rather interesting conversation.

Um, or the women who prefer to not wear a top, because they enjoy being without clothing.

Yes implying they have little to no class.

No. I have class, but I prefer to go without clothing. Class is less about clothing, and more about how you carry yourself and interact with others.

I can see how you made your mistake, having none of your own.

That's just stupid; stupidly conservative; overwhelmingly Victorian. From the useless need of modesty, to the arbitrary shout of false superiority implied in mentioning 'class', it screams Neo-con.
The first people to discard their clothes will be people that recognize the shallowness in them; not sluts.

I just stated my opinion, no need to flame over it. It may seem terribly victorian, but are you telling me that women of morals are just going to whip off their tops without a period of adjustment?

Personally, I don't see much of a problem in having top-free areas. People seem to be forgetting that it wouldn't be mandatory.

I have my own moral values, but would quite possibly go topless in the right situations. I am not a slut, I have no desire to incite lust in others (it's when I'm covered from neck to ankle you have to watch for that), but I think that there are times when it's appropriate to be topless and I'd embrace those times quite happily.
As it is, I have a tendency towards modesty and prefer not to expose terribly much of myself except at fetish nights. Were I the tanning rather than burning type when it came to summer sun, though, I'm sure I'd be very happy to go topless. Were it more practical for climbing, swimming or other favoured activies, I'd be merrily topfree.

There is a social etiquette that most people have enough sense to use regularly. Some people DO seem to be socially impaired, as we see stores with 'no shoes, no shirt, no service" etc. which does show us that some people have no sense in that respect and have to be told to act, well...as normal as the majority of society does n their own. That will happen for men and women. But what we are talking about is not people walking down the street anywhere at 1am (I'm am sure you can find a few from time to time, legal or not now even) , it's about the beach, pool, etc...places that are now legal and socially ACCEPTABLE for men to be topless. Yes, there will be a few that do things socially unacceptable, if not illegal per say, as a few rare men do now but for the most part you do not see topless men in malls, airports, etc. It's a beach, pool type thing.

Um. Yeah.

I don't lie, I don't cheat, I don't steal, and I try my damndest to be the best person I can be.
However, the minute I won't get carted off to jail for it, the clothes are coming off.
This isn't because I want men to want me, or because I want to make women jealous of my figure, it's because I don't like wearing clothing unless it's necessary. I want to feel the breeze on my skin, not through my clothing. I want to walk through a spiderweb and have to pick it off of myself. I'd like very much to lean against a tree and feel the bark scrape my back.

So please, don't use your alien morality to decide what kind of person I am, or what my motives are for wanting to eschew clothing.

I actually tan quite beautifully. I prefer not to, though, because it's not good for the skin.

I don't think I'd ever go around toplees. It isn't about being a pude or puritan or anything like that, it's a safety thing. Tops hold it all in. Tops protect everything a little. No doubt there would be dumb broads riding around topless on motorcycles. That's safe...I think that, while some women would embrace the ability to run about topless, those with larger chests would most likely refrain due to comfort, those in the workplace would refrain in order to avoid sexual harassment problems, and there are a million other reasons women wouldn't go topless. It might be nice to go about topless at the beach or something, but in everday life, there are so many places and situations in which going about topless simply isn't appropriate or safe.

If it's beach or pools then yeah totally rock on. I still think it's a tad on the tasteless side, but still, yeah enjoy.
