*Has a bit of a chuckle at Nevan*
It's all good, er...clean(?) fun.
I hate to do this, Ravenmother, but we'll have to postpone this till later.
The bunch of us here at the office are heading out for lunch.

I am actually disturbed that this exists. Seriously, guys. Too far.

Not to brag or anything but in a alternative dimension I have found the cure to cancer, built the great wall of china and ate a whole tub of ice cream without brain freeze.

Yeah, a 'flirt thread' is patently lame enough, but this isn't really a flirt thread so much as a 'let's all cyberfuck' thread. Actually, it's not so much a 'let's all cyberfuck' thread so much as a 'let's all pretend to nibble on each other' thread.
Whatever floats your boat, guys, but I won't pretend I don't derive some pride from the knowledge that, should this persist, my proclaimation of 'Absolutley not' will be immortalized as the topic's first reply.

Ok. I've had quite a bit of fun with this thread for the past two days, but even I think we've gone a bit overboard.
Guilty as charged.
What started off as a casual flirting thread seems to have evolved into something quite different, and definitely not everybody's cup of tea.

Gracious. I've never seen one of these get out of hand this quickly. Last one I remember took four years and nine incarnations of 10k post before it go to the point where it was shut down. You guys did it in five pages. Congrats.
=P
Now, what you need is not a spontaneous, unorganized 'flirting' thread, but a social 'cafe/bar' where people can do the who *emote* and talk about real issues. Much like the randomness thread.
Those 'social threads' often go over better in the long run, and can always have some interesting incidents.

For me getting "frisky" in the rain resulted in nothing but laughter from both of us and blue hair dye dripping onto his face.
DepthsofSpace, good idea. We've tried it with few successes. Looking over the old alt.gothic discussions makes this look quite harmless, though.

Aww, Meth- don't be disappointed!
I'm sure there are other places for you to get your fix of Deliciously Dark Decadence.

I figured that this tread would result in a lot of *winkwink**nudgenudge* kind of stuff and the exchange of really bad pick-up lines. Who knew it could turn into this kind of stuff so fast, although when compared to past threads it really is quite mild (some of the old members were quite um...sensual beings).

Hey, I admit, I had a hand it things getting out of control, I won't deny it. My apologies to those who were offended, and my apologies for my randiness. We all have our days where we just want to have a little fun, and yesterday just so happened to be one of mind. Sorry everybody!
