Starting over, Hi hi!
Um... I like different kinds of music, some I know more about than others.
I like J-pop, J-rock, 80's gothic rock, lol or 80's rock in general, classic rock in general. I'm not too mainstream, but Japanese music is a guilty pleaseure of mine... >_>
Um, I play the violin and the guitar (although my brotehr took the violin and ran *cry*)
And I love art! And writing! It's what I do ^^

No it's not really necessery to repost an intro and don't worry if you don't recieve a response right away, immediate reponses arn't exactly normal for gnet. Your intro doesn't have to be perfect. Just relax and welcome to gnet.

Welcome to the boards!!!
Damn it, I want to play a violin!
There were a lot of good songs in the 80s.
Well enjoy your stay!

I saw your posts, and I just wanted to say you shouldn't feel neglected. Gnet's, or rather the people of Gnet, seem to be under the weather lately.

Are you a fan of Akira Yamaoka's music, by chance? In particular the Silent Hill OSTs.

I also rather enjoy j-pop and j-rock, especially the music of Yoko Kanno, Yoshiki, Gackt and a few others. I also have quite a collection of anime OSTs.
Oh, and by the way, I love the Kenshin avatar. The original Rurouni Kenshin is still one of my favorite animes of all time.
Welcome to G-net!

You'd probably like Akira Yamaoka. I'd suggest the following songs:
1) You're Not Here - Silent Hill 3
2) Your Rain - Silent Hill 4
3) Letters from the Lost Days - Silent Hill 3
4) I Want Love (Studio Remix) - Silent Hill 3
5) Breeze - In Monochrome Night - Silent Hill 3
6) Dance with Night Wind - Silent Hill 3
7) Never Forgive Me, Never Forget - Silent Hill 3
8) Tender Sugar - Silent Hill 4
9) Hometown - Silent Hill 3
10) Rain of Brass Petals (Three Voices Edit) - Silent Hill 3
11) Cradel of Forest - Silent Hill 4
12) Theme of Laura - Silent Hill 2
13) Promise/Promise (Reprise) - Silent Hill 2
14) Magdalene - Silent Hill 2
15) True - Silent Hill 2
16) Esperandote - Silent Hill 1
That's just to name a few of Yamaoka's amazingly good songs. There are tons more to be listened to, so I've provided you a link that has the full soundtrack, downloadable for free, for every game except Silent Hill: Origins and Silent Hill IV.
Here ya go--enjoy!
http://shm.silenthillfever.com/sh3.htm
Just use the navigational bar that says "Silent Hill, Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3, Silent Hill 4" and if you go to the right-hand side of the screen after selecting the game you want the music from, hit the button that says "Original Soundtrack (OST) and it'll provide a list of songs you can download at your leisure.
If you need more, let me know. I'm the Silent Hill geek on this forum, ask any of the other members.
