Hey, I'm new.
Hey, I'm Kane and I'm 21. Uh, onto the questions then I guess.
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
Currently I'm the primary carer for my grandfather who is bedridden from a stoke he had eight years ago, besides that I'd like to have a career in art at some point in the future so I try to attend as many art classes as I can but it's somewhat difficult due to my circumstances.
I've also just started the exam for my Art and Design GCSE.
2. Where are you from?
Wales, Cardiff specifically.
3. Who is your favourite author?
Not sure really, glancing at my shelf however reveals that a significant amount of Terry Pratchett books so I guess he must be a favourite.
4. What are your favourite films?
I don't really have any favourites, if I had to choose I would say Sleepy Hollow as it's the only film I've seen more than three times yet could happily watch again.
To be honest I don't watch many films these days, I mostly watch anime (yeah I know, I'm a total nerd), my favourite anime would have to be Haibane-Renmei.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Though It's doubtful I'll ever find someone willing to marry me, if it does happen It would have to be Deliriously by Screaming Banshee Aircrew.
6. At your funeral?
I know it's said often but I don't really care as I'll be dead.
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
I can't help but feel that falling over a waterfall would be a good way to go.
Failing that doing something heroic would be good, problem being of course is that if you die doing it, it may end up seeming more stupid that heroic.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
A huge stone sarcophagus inside a specially constructed mausoleum, though due to budget restrictions it seems somewhat unlikely.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Well all of my outfits are of the black jeans and t-shirt variety so not at all exciting, my favourite piece of clothing though is my soviet naval officer coat.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
To be honest I don't miss much about being a kid, my childhood wasn't bad or anything it's just there's nothing about it I miss.
11. What's your favourite band?
Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy (I'm sure you're all sick of people listing these two)
Die laughing, Inkubus Sukkubus and Fields of Nephilim.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I don't really have an education as dropped out of highschool before taking any exams and hiding in my room for about four years all due to social anxiety disorder which I'm only just beginning to recover from.
I'm currently finishing off an Art and Design GCSE, and will be moving onto an A-level in it next year. I also hope to pick up a few more GCSE over the next couple of years before moving starting and art degree.
13. Why did you join?
I figured that I should try and start talking to people online again, other than a social phobia forum I was on a few years ago I haven't posted on a forum since the social anxiety set in and after lurking for awhile I felt this place would be a good place talk to some decent people.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I'm male.

Welcome to g-net Kane! Nice choice in music, and no, we actually don't get a lot of people who know much about goth. I was one of those, but the good people here have fixed me. I'm really diggin' the coffin. Enjoy your stay here, I predict you'll be well liked.

I like your honesty and how you're not trying to be the ubergoth as I suspect some of us here try way too hard to be. :K Welcome to the boards. Screw disorders. Socialize. :]

Au contraire, mon ami. It's always refreshing to meet a newbie who doesn't listen to metal or mainstream rock.
Welcome to g-net!

Hello.
I've decided I like you. A British goth with a sense of responsibility, an interest in education, good music taste, a liking for Terry Pratchett and apparently an excellent standard of written English.
We need more like you on the boards. You will be very welcome here, as the others have said.

Anyway, welcome aboard!
