Top 100 fundie christian quotes *scary*
http://duggmirror.com/comedy/100_Gre...an_chat_rooms/
theses are just a few from the website:
No, everyone is born Christian. Only later in life do people choose to stray from Jesus and worship satan instead. Atheists have the greatest "cover" of all, they insist they believe in no god yet most polls done and the latest research indicates that they are actually a different sect of Muslims.
Trinidad and Tobago, CARM [Comments (260)] [2006-Oct-01]
I am a bit troubled. I believe my son has a girlfriend, because she left a dirty magazine with men in it under his bed. My son is only 16 and I really don't think he's ready to date yet. What's worse is that he's sneaking some girl to his room behind my back. I need help, God! I want my son to stop being so secretive!
Linda, Good news prayer room [Comments (2846)] [2006-Oct-28]
[about a girl being born with mental disabilities]
This girl is like a leper so what she needs to do is try and find god
if she really believes she can be healed from this state, she will be healed from this state
Most afflictions like this are caused by sins committed while still inside the womb. If she can repent for what she does god will embrace her and make her as human as you or me but if she chooses not to she'll always be like this
god tests every one of us [emphasis added]

ok..you cannot tell me these people are not insane for saying this stuff. it's ridiculous! i've never heard so many intolerant, ignorant words in my life! it disgusts me that people could think these things.

It's important to remember that people like that don't represent all Christians.

Yeah, see answer one. I believe Christ himself chided his disciples for saying the exact same thing...
Ak, what I hate more that self-righteous types, are types that spout nonsense about their own religion.

Oh my god, those are among the most idiotic things I've ever read. Who in their right mind thinks like that? Utterly insane, I think. I'm a Christian, and all my life, I've been surrounded by them, but honestly, I've never been around someone with such a twisted kind of thinking. I know they're out there, though. Ha, the Christian Identity comes to mind. I would be a "soulless mud person" to them, simply because I'm not white. I fail to see where that is in the Bible. I may not know much about my own religion (I'm not that religious), but I do know that it does not in anyway say any of that crap posted in the quotes...

Baptists. I've heard some of such things when I was in high school.

Ah, that's believable. I used to be a Baptist, but I'm not really sure what kind of Christian I am now. I stopped going to church years ago, and I refuse to go back. Sometimes I wonder whether Christianity is the religion for me. I do have my own beliefs...

Actually, Jullian & Sophia, no one in 'their right mind' holds those beliefs. Deluded minds do, on the other hand.
And Baptist have some of the most twisted (though do not hold exclusive rights in there area, by no means), especially when you get into the hundreds of subsects.

Hm, maybe you are right. But, I suppose I should think about religious freaks in general. One lady turned up her nose at me once as soon as I walked into the room... simply because of the way I dress. Hm... If only it were worth it to educate such ignorant minds...

ugh..one more reason why Huckabee shouldn't be president. i hate when he starts babbling about "family values"..values to him is having a nice christian family that goes to church every week, don't support abortion, etc, etc..
and again, religion starts mixing in with politics. ARGH!

I guess we can't help them, and they will just have to stay in their own little box. It amuses me to watch them try to move around. Haha

Just from those three quotes, I have to wonder if these folks have read anything biblical at all, or if they just have one of those special, self-edited versions. :/

Gravity: Doesn't exist. If items of mass had any impact of others, then mountains should have people orbiting them. Or the space shuttle in space should have the astronauts orbiting it. Of course, that's just the tip of the gravity myth. Think about it. Scientists want us to believe that the sun has a gravitation pull strong enough to keep a planet like neptune or pluto in orbit, but then it's not strong enough to keep the moon in orbit? Why is that? What I believe is going on here is this: These objects in space have yet to receive mans touch, and thus have no sin to weigh them down. This isn't the case for earth, where we see the impact of transfered sin to material objects. The more sin, the heavier something is.

The only thing I don't like about them is they sell foreign language versions of the KJB. I don't think that's right. We know the only true translation is the 1600's version in English.
It's too risky for anybody to translate that into other languages. Mistakes can creep in... and that can lead to heresy. True Christians should only read English.

I think I'm going to go kill myself in protest of humanity. Good bye guys...
We have shamed the message of liberty and love which Christ has brought us...

I think Huckabee would be a great idea for the country.
His presidency would be so volatile that it just might spark revolution for the better.

the sad thing is, there are some people who think that.
