Winged, dear, do you know if it's benign or malignant?
Is there any sort of marrow transplant that can be performed?
Good luck, doll.

I just got the secondhand details from my grandmother. Apparently they caught it early enough and can do chemotheraphy on it. I'll ask my grandmother more about it when I see her.

Thanks for all the support. I don't know too much about the cancer situation right now. I'll have to see how the chemo goes. And I might be spelling it wrong.

Thanks! I am not one to lay all my troubles on everyone or get into the "who hurts the most" game cause I've been hit with more tragedy by 28 then most will ever but without telling you why I am taking the hug I'll just take it.
And not cause you're Soul Immortal...although that part does help! ^_^

Wannabes
I hate it when people is wannabes. I also hate it when people call others wannabes.
I hate wannabes because they are stupid. You do not want to be a goth, if you want to be a goth you have not understanded that wanting to be a goth is the same as being one. There isn't such a thing as a "true" goth. If you feel gothic, then you are goth. Doesn't matter what others think. Thats part of being gothic, not to care for critisism, isn't it? You can even feel gothic and be a goth one day, not to be it the next.
I hate people who call others wannabes because they also have missed the point. Goth is about how you feel. Unless you are a telepath, you can't know if he is a goth or not!
Be yourself - wether goth or not!

So many people can not come to understand this in so many circles, but it seems to always bring up in my mind why would you wanna be anything other then yourself?

Nem: Did you even read the whole post?
I think you can "grow out" of being goth. For that matter, I think you can go back again when you feel like it. It's a state of mind, a humour (don't know how it's spelled), or a feeling.

Ahm wannabe…wannabe…squeezing the soft and malleable portion (and some of you have more of the soft and malleable than others) of some of youzes brains for being so goddamn reflicted, ‘ats what I wannabe.
Now STFU and get with the flipping program.
Would some gracious mod out there please flush and delete this thread, seeing as it’s so goddamn deserving?

A road rant.
I want to address the problem of the DMV licensing fucktards. In especially, the pacer fucktards. Look, it isn’t hard. You drive your speed, I drive mine. If we are on a two lane road, and the double lines, or single lines facing our side, appear?
Umm, dumbfuck?
That isn’t your signal to speed the hell up! It doesn’t mean that you need to now go (where before you were ten under the limit) mock 5 ala Buck Rodger with Twinky close behind trying to shove Wilma’s dildo up your ass (been watching too much Family Guy) so get a fucking clue, or kill yourself.
K?
And if we are on the highway, and I’m doing 80 in the right lane and you are doing 65 in the right, and I move to the left to pass…why for all that’s right and holy do you suddenly get the urge to meet my speed, and stay by my side?
Is there a sing on my van that says, “Jesus loves you, let’s all get along?” Or didja, perhaps, mistake my middle finger as an invitation to suck my dick at the next rest stop you fucking troglodyte, inbreed, West Virginian Mongoloid?
That is all.

I just wanted to let everyone know what was up with my dad...I don't think I've said anything since he went back into the hospital...maybe I did...I have no idea...for those of you who don't know my dad has been dealing with lung cancer and it has been really hard on my entire family and I'm a major daddy's girl so he was really always the person that I went to when I was upset and he could make everything ok...anyway they removed the lump completely and the cancer didn't spread so it' all gone, this means that he wont have to do chemo. While the surgery itself went much better than could be expected he has had a few bumps in the path of recovery namely a few staff infections, I think there were two but I'm not sure, and whenever he seemed to be doing well enough to be taken off the ventilator he got too weak to keep it up. The staff infections went away, one went away quickly but the other one was quite a battle it was however a battle that he won, the ventilator problem was solved by giving him a tracheotomy and getting the ventilator to work through that so they could easily take it on and off with out having to take the tube out and put it back in. He is now off the ventilator, has been for over a week now, and he maybe able to call me soon. It seems like the simplest of things but even now I have tears pouring down my face at just the thought of hearing his voice, he hasn't been able to talk for well over a month now and it has been killing me. I know I'm going to spent every moment of fall break that I can just talking to him...I know he'll have to go through a lot of rehab though before he'll be able to sustain a long conversation. Anyways I just wanted to let you guys know and I figured that a little good news may give you guys some hope in your situations and as always I'll keep you all in mind and send positive thoughts, as well as lots of tight hugs, you ways

Day four, and I've only managed to get ten hours of sleep in so far. And the shrink said that this new med. (trazodone) would help with that. Well 400mg's in the past five hours and all I've got is cottonmouth. Still having stomach and digestive problems from the wellbutrin, even though I got taken off of it a few months ago. Depakote seems to be helping since they doubled the dosage, and the rhemaron doesn't seem to be having any negative side effects or reacting poorly to the vicadin. Starting to get those not so happy headaches again so I probably need to go in for an MRI, yay an hour stuck in a big electromagnetic tube. Gotta call my lawyer tomorrow (well technically later today), not really looking forward to that either.
I'm really starting to hate doctors of any kind.

I want to rant about how tired I have been lately. This isn't normal for me. I have never had that much sleep in the past and it has never bothered me, I would just feel sort of tired. Now I feel VERY tired regardless how much sleep I have had. All the time. So I am thinking that I either have a worse caffeine addiction than I had originally thought, or I am addicted to cigarettes. Can a lack of cigarettes even make you really tired? This is probably a stupid rant, I am just sick of being so tired.

So I now have 4 jobs, and will be picking up a 5th one next month. Soon, it will mostly on call stuff. Until then, sleep is a luxury.
A few nights ago, I was DJing, and some girl asks if I had a whole bunch of bands (wumpscutt, leatherstrap, trogladite....OK, the last one was made up, but it sounds right). After telling her "no" over and over again, she asked me "how can you be a DJ in a goth club?" in that "I'm so much better than you" kind of way. I said "because I have music, and I know how to mix". "But you don't have anything good." "Oh yeah I do. See, I've got Blood Brothers, Modest Mouse, the Beach Boys, Naked Raygun....". "Fuck you!".
So after having a good laugh about that, she comes up again, and begs me to play some Bowie. "Sorry, I refuse to carry Bowie" "Why?" "Because he sucks" "Well....can't you play some for me?" She walks out, and out of spite (and the fact that it'd be funny) "I dedicated a song to "the cunt that keeps bugging me about Bowie", and played "Sister Ray" by the Velvet Underground....all 20 minutes of its white-noise brilliance. Then she comes up and throws her drink on my CDs.
Now here's what I don't get-OK, the Mercury is a goth club most nights, but the reason I got my night is because they wanted a bit of variety (plus, the manager thought it'd be funny to hear something other than "dark" music). The poster makes this fact very explicit. The fact that there were a number of non-black wearers in there should have been the other big clue. And maybe the fact that I was playing a bunch of mod films in the background. And the fact that I mixed "Bitches Brew" into "Dancing Queen"? HUGE fucking clue. Now, most of the time, people can request stuff, and I'm cool with it. But just because you don't like what I'm playing doesn't give you a right to try starting shit with me....ESPECIALLY me, because I'm usually DJing after working 14 hours. I'm not in the mood to deal with it. And when you try destroying my shit....well, don't be so suprised when you get ejected from the club.
So lesson to you all-when going into a club, and you don't like what's being played, a bit of courtesy goes a long way.

S.O.B. : hang on to your IQ...
Solumina: thanks for the update and good luck. Be brave.
Tiffanny: yes, cigarrettes WILL do that to you, not just run you out of breath. It does have a big influence on how tired you feel. Caffeine doesn't help to the mix AT ALL.
Loy: Damn fucking straight.
I bought two tickets for 90 fucking bucks to watch a solo show of Joaquin Cortés, the world's greatest flamenco dancer live. Of course my woman is gonna cream herself, but that'll at leat shut her up about short men. Actually, just knowing she has a ticket already shut her up
Here he is, for those of you who've never heard of the man:

He is a MASTER and I am once again jealous as hell that you get to have all the fun..I just bet she is creaming in her panties in anticipation..

Okay, I'm not even really into guys and that's hot. Granted I've always thought flamenco was the sexiest thing on earth, ever. So I'm probably a touch biased.
EPS you think we can get some sort of group discount rate on international plane tickets?
