Sorry for the double post, but I'd be mad. She ruined her chances to see you again and prolonged the time. That'd make me wonder how she really felt about the relationship.

Poor Meth.
Also, fuck. There goes my desire to move to Sweden when I try to get out of Airstrip One.
Oh, and it's 11.45pm and I have to be awake at 6.30am.
It's ridiculous. A government should fear the people, not the other way around.
When even most of our secret police is against the law then you know something is rotten in Sweden.

Okay, I have a question.

My girlfriend and I have gotten in to a few fights recently. I want to keep talking about what's going on and try and fix things, and she tells me she wants to stop talking about it.

Should I stop talking about it, or press to talk about it?

(Personally, I would catch her in a quiet mood and hold her close. Talk about what you need to talk about but be sweet and understanding.)

It sounds to me like she feels she's in the wrong. If she genuinely thought she was right, surely she'd want to have her say and would be glad that you want to initiate dialogue. I could be wrong about this, but in my experience that's usually the way it works with people who just want all arguments dropped.

Explain why it's important for you to talk about it, and don't make her feel like she's a fuck up, because she already feels that way. Ask her why she doesn't want to talk about it.

Sweety, I know you don't want to talk about it, so I wont push the issue, but for the sake of having a good bond with you, I'd like to understand why it bothers you. I care about you and I want to do what I and WE can do to make this relationship strong. I find it very worthwhile being with you. So it would be in my best interest to understand you the best I can.

Right now I am a bit fed up with the dryer in my apartment, I know that it is something minor but it doesn't buzz when it is finished, it just kind of stops, which I don't notice unless I'm specifically concentrating on the dryer which means that I can't do anything else unless I don't mind my clothing sitting in there, getting all wrinkled. I guess I could just set a timer and use the timed setting but the sensor setting is so much more efficient, oh well I guess from now on I shall use the timer

Any particular reason why are you in such a nasty mood?

I am just irritated in general. It definitely has something to do with my parents feuding and my brother getting away with everything..

Thanks to technology, we all have faster visibility of what happens in the world and can unite from anywhere in the world. Unfortunately so can governments.

Ugh. Remind me not to go online when visiting friends over the border... Seriously, this is frightening. Especially since it wouldn't surprise me if Norway follows suit. (In which case I would go home to Germany without looking back.)

Do you ever have one of those days, where things seem like their backwards?

So, I got my grades today. I passed all of my classes with higher grades then was mathematically possible.

Because of the good grades, I got online registration access back, so I can actually get the classes I want now.

Because of the online registration, I get to have the math classes I want next year, and take all IT classes.

Because of the good IT classes, I'll get to spend more time with my dad this summer then I thought I would.

Best of all, because of all of the above, and because of my girlfriend negotiates well with her parents, she'll be here tomorrow morning.

And, I got a really nice lighter.

A month of suck is negated by a day of uber.

I just had an epiphany.
The reason for which I stay in unhealthy, almost certainly doomed relationships is intrinsically tied to the profound fear of failure that colors nearly all that I do.
I always need to win, and to walk away from a woman is to admit defeat.

It doesn't have to be that way.
If someone is treating you poorly, it's winning to have the strength to leave the relationship.

Why is it that I had to go and sprout hips and huge tits?
I went from a 34B, size 7 jean to a 36DD and a size 13 jean in less than a year. No change in diet/exercise.. anything. Just.. poof! And now I am fat. I hate being "curvy". Some days, yeah. I like it. But when I can't fit into pretty clothes that don't make my waist disappear.. I am having a major fat day.

I need more than just one of those joints.. lets two two or three, and I'd prefer glass, if you have a pipe I could borrow.

Perspective?! HOW.

Well, you're obviously not starving and MANY people are. You've got a roof over your head and your parents are pretty much paying your way.

Just a tip--maybe lay off drugs and go running.

As for perspective, realize that in the grand scheme of things, you--and your weight or body shape--are NOTHING.
