Sex Songs

After reading A Clockwork Orange for the 5th time, I had to create this thread. In the section of the book where Alex rapes the young girls to the beat of Beethoven, I had to relate to him. In sex, I find myself keeping up with the melody of a song while it corresponds to the motion of the sex. It helps keep it flowing, tactful, and precise...kind of like meter in poetry.

How many of you like the ecstasy of having sex to music? For me, it's an essential. For some reason, low toned, semi-slow beat, and industrial music helps develop the intensity and soul-gazing through out the intimacy. I love music that has a mysterious like tone that helps you embrace the moment, or even a beat that seems to "tease" the senses.

What bands or songs do you most play during sex or can recommend? For me, I typically play and recommend:

"Heliotropic" by Failure
"Saturday Saviour" by Failure
"Daylight" by Failure
"Change" by Detones
"Knife Party" by Deftones
"The Scarlet Garden" by My Dying Bride
"Running Up That Hill" by Placebo
"Saraband For Dead Lovers" by Sex Gang Children
"Through the Fields to the End" by Tragediens Trone
"Love You to Death" by Type O Negative
"Wolf Moon" by Type O Negative
"Take Me With You" by VAST
"Lost" by VAST
"Touched" by VAST
"The Nile's Edge" by VAST
"Angelique" by Theatre of Tragedy
"A Distance There Is" by Theatre of Tragedy
"Jet Black" by Jawbreaker
"The Noose" by A Perfect Circle
"Jako" by OhGr
"Space Cadet" by Kyuss
"Tangy Zizzle" by Kyuss
"Secret Song" by Kyuss
"Frail" by Finch
"Zombie" by the Cranberries
"Lullaby" by the Cure
"Blue Monday" by New Order
"Bonedriven" by Bush
"Happy Birthday" by The Birthday Massacre
"The Dream" by The Birthday Massacre
"Prologue" by The Birthday Massacre
"Nutshell" by Alice in Chains
"Down in a Hole" by Alice in Chains

*to split hairs...
I went thru about 7 back-pages, and the closest thread I found was in regards to the song you lost (or wanted to lose) your virginity to. Seeing as that event happened so long ago, and this thread was a bit 'fresher', I decided to go ahead and post/continue this one...

..disclaimer done, on to the posting!

If we're talking Depeche Mode, then I would go for "In your room ".

I know the meaning of the song, it's the melody that appeals to me. It's deep and soulful, the slow beat is electrifying when you're locking bodies.

Its not a love song. It IS a great song though. In my Top 50 songs easily. Those Kyuss songs would make my top 100 list as well.

And I just realized the point of this whole thread. Apologies.

The Cure is better played in the world of sexual fantasy. Because when the real thing comes about and you hear them, you become worried that the actual experience isn't real. That's horrific.

Though, "Lullaby" is still fuckably favorable.

The only music I've ever had sex to was The Doors. Their entire collection of songs. I was quite tired at the end. But she demanded it. o_0

Actually, it was only about 3 CDs from the collection.

I can't believe no one has mentioned "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails. This song is better than sex.

Ahahah, closer came out when I was in 7th grade and I actually had my real first make out to that song. It was sooooooo awkward. I still think of it when I hear "You make me perfect...."
Oh trent... We have been together for so long :~)
