I never found that his persona seemed forced.... Well, I was only a child when I first watched these episodes. I have a great many on video, though, and I still thoroughly enjoyed every one featuring Colin Baker. Including such as "Time and The Rani", that fans as a whole usually agree aren't so good. One of my favorite episodes is "Vengance on Valtros", with Colin Baker... I also find "Trial of a Time Lord" intriguing... (Does the Doctor really become evil in the future? Oh, no, it can't be...) In real life, strong characters often ARE forced. People with a great presence to them, often develop such character traits to distract from something lacking. Still, I am drawn to such individuals and their antics have a cheering effect on me.

I can't believe I haven't posted here yet. I love Doctor Who. Especially when they play marathons on Sci Fi. ALSO, theres a new season coming up. I'm pretty sure that David Tennent is still playing the Doctor which is good cause he's the best. I also have a hopless crush on Rose Tyler because I'm a loser.

Love the present show.
Loved it when I was 12, watching reruns of Tom Baker's Doctor on the local PBS station, and still loved it when Davidson took over. Didn't watch the last few episodes of Davidson though. I remember Rememberance of the Daleks being so freakin' violent it kinda messed with me & killed off some of my interest in the show. Well that & growing up & away from the series.

6th & 7th Docs, along w/ Doctors 1 - 3, didn't do that much for me.
I did like McGann's Oscar Wilde-looking 8th Doctor, though I wish he could've had better material to work with on his only TV outing.
Or at least a story that didn't take 30+ years of canon and twist it around like it was trying to make animal balloons with it!
Eccleson was good but Tennant is freakin' awesome.
The episode with his Doctor & Davidson's was excellent.

Now if only they'll finally do us all a favor & bring back McGann for the episode that will reveal everything that happened between the TV movie & Eccleson's first episode!

Not a lot of Torchwood love here. Shame. I really like it myself, mostly because I have a gigantic crush on Tosh.

I love Doctor Who, because it's so silly and over the top. I never got to see the old series, but I liked Eccleston and Tennant. Billie Piper was cool as Rose, but really, people need to let go. Rose was two companions ago, for chrissakes. Move on.

Has the new season started yet in England? I think it should have started by now over here.
I hope the new assisstant is better than the last one. Martha sucked in my opinion.

I've been checking sites if it has started...And there's no listings that it has. I'm waiting very impatiently, I think it won't until late in Feb if I'm not mistaken. ^^ I do love this show though, definitly in my top favorites.

Torchwood Season 2 has far surpassed anything in Season 1, and I really liked it. The premiere episode, Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang, was brilliant (especially for a Buffy/Angel fan such as myself). It got right into the new season and quite a bit has changed, but some things never do(I'm look at you Owen!). Anyone who didn't like the first season, I say just give Season 2 a shot. You won't be disappointed.

Martha rocked in her own way.

The new season has already been underway in England, and it starts here in the states on Sci-Fi in April. *insert giddy clapping here*
