Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

I need a band name
That's right folks, I is got a band.....if you're gonna flame me for the stupid joke I made before in some random thread I started, Take that to the whining forum, back to the right topic....I have this really strange band, and unfortunately, We can't think up of a bandname...We've come up with The Blue Anus Squad, but that's rather inappropriate, we also came up with Romanticide, but that sounds a little bit Cliche gothic...and also a little bit emo...and that's not what we're looking for...ok, I'll give you a little bit of background on my band, We're experimenting with sounds and we sound like psychadelic metal, with a small bit of industrial in it...like, put Hendrix, Opeth, Smashing Pumpkins, Immaculata and Skinny Puppy in a blender and that's us...so...if you have any bandname suggestions, do tell me

It came to me in a dream [ well a napp ]
I Was at this huge venue being presed by thusands of sreaming half naked grils !OOPS!

What is the subject matter of your band? I think that the band's name should largely reflect the lyrical subject matter within the band, and also have an atmospheric tone that gives you an idea of the genre(s) the band can be placed in..

Ok..Thankyou to Dax for pointing something out, our lyrics reflect the past...like, well, our dark and dreaded past, and has some random parts about getting stoned and people dying, I know it sounds ridiculous...but if I ever post my lyrics, You'll get waht I mean
