What colour did you dye your hair?

I'm thinking of dying it white with red tips. Either that or black with red highlights, or red with black hightlights.

Oh, lets see... I've had blonde, dark reddish brown, brown, black(kept that one for a couple years), dark red, reddish purple, ash blonde, platinum blonde, bluish purple, and now it's like a light blue/green on top and faded pinkish purple on the bottom(from doing a bleach bath on faded purple hair) which I'm going to dye a light ashy brown tomorrow. Wonder if I missed any.

You probably did 0.0 I once dyed it a blue-ish purple. It was very nice. I liked it.

Yeah, blueish purple is probably one of my favorites. It also looks a lot nicer once it has faded than reddish purple.. reddish purple unfortunately fades to a horrible magenta color.

Yeah, blueish purple is probably one of my favorites. It also looks a lot nicer once it has faded than reddish purple.. reddish purple unfortunately fades to a horrible magenta color.

I can tell quite easily, yes. I like hair dye a lot too, but I only change my hair dye once a year. My red hair fades into this muddy brownish colour. I think I'm going to try the blueish purple again.

Well, I dyed mine black with a bit of blue in it. It looks black in dim light, but when the sun shine through it you can see the blue. Not that I go out in the sun anyways.

Dark red, almost burgundy. It's pretty. I love the purplish black but this color looks better on me. I went through this stage of yearning to dye it pure white because I thought it would be cool. But, I think that a tad extreme...I'm glad this turned out the way it did because last time I tried to color my hair red it turned bright orange and I had to dye it black which turned brown.

I had a dark but bright (kind of deep) red the last few months and just had almost white thick highlight put in it. It's very stripy. Other people seem to really like it but I am going to have to get used to lighter hair again. That and conditioning. It has totally lost it lush soft feel now. I DO like that I can do different color curl rings and pin them around and let them fall where I want, etc.

I recently dyed my hair this reddish/brown, but it only showed up in my roots, I gotta get it professionally bleached, and THEN dye it that color.

I just recently said on this very board that I was going to do an ashy brown color, right? Going from a light bluish color with no red pigment left whatsoever gave me, as I suspected, this dark foresty green color. It's completely awesome.

Though in a few days I'm going to dye it a reddish brown color to counteract the green. I'm sick of hair dye and just want a natural color to let grow out.

I thought you were a hair dye fan. XD The ashy brown colour sounds really nice. I recently dyed my hair white with red highlights. It's nice, but gets boring easily. Next I'm dying it light purple, but my bangs will be dark purple.

Oh, but I still very much am, but the hair dye/bleach is really killing my waist length hair. I've always wanted mid-thigh length hair and I've finally realized that that just won't happen if the color changes every week, so I'm unfortunately giving up most hair dye. I'll probably occasionally add a few streaks of a nice color (teal and purple.. ooh) because there's no way in hell that I won't get bored with having the same exact thing all of the time, but sadly after I get back to a naturalish brown color, no more major changes for me...

Oh yeah, your purple idea sounds awesome. I'm obsessed with the color purple.

I've had a black deathhawk for the past few months with the unshaved sides ranging from blue to ugly faded greeny blue to blonde to white. I also bleached out the back section of the hawk and put in some purple, although the result was more a mix of dark burgundy, dark purple, light purple, blonde and near-white. Lovely.

Interesting... Well, if you like keeping your hair short you should go crazy with dye. I some times wish that I wasn't so hell-bent on super long hair so I could have fun with the color/style a bit.

It's not always short. At one point it was long, straight, and all black. It was really beautiful, but made me look to angelic. XD

I have had red, blue, black, white, and purple hair when I had my mohawk. Currently I'm in the process of dyeing half my head green, and the other pink.
