Well then I'm just confused. What do Atheists believe anyway? Just science?

*edit*

agnostic. That works.

I don't believe i anything As I realize human knowledge isn't absolute I however do lean to the theories with more convincing evidence.
Science so far gives us the best means of finding the truth.

I'm glad it works for you. Atheists do believe that science answers most of the questions. We do not believe that god created earth, or the first human was Adam and the second came from his rib. Most atheists do not doubt the Theory of Evolution, and we believe in no religion (obviously). So atheists have to rely on science a lot to explain things. I think it was Molly who made a good point. Something about religious people may believe god creates our beliefs, but they cannot doubt facts.

To be honest, ever since I was really really little, I was skepticle about Adam and Eve. After a while, I just stopped believing. Same with Noah's ark. They're just myths.

Going back to my question:
As you can obviously make judgment calls, and it is wrong for an atheist to say Christians are fools, what are people that believe in sexual power-giving leprechauns to you?

Yes, they are. There are a lot of myths. Even the greeks know that their gods/goddesses were just invented to explain why things happen.

I don't know. Just... people that believe in that sort of thing? I'm not going to bash them for it.

Are you serious?
You would respect people like this just to be politically correct?
I don't know who had it more accurate, George Orwell or Ray Bradbury.

Well, I was born and raised a Christian, went to a Christian private school, got wholly into that Jesus guy, but then I realized that there's no god. Just a big mass of energy that when we die, our energy/souls whatever go back into it.

I was "saved" once. It didn't mean much to me even then.

Or just plain arrogant.

Both Atheists and Christians tend to be.

As a pagan, I'd be annoyed if you made a thread about pagans, yes. It's none of your business how I came into it. And I'd get annoyed if you believed in an offshoot that I didn't and you presented that as the only true pagan following.

Bella, love, don't argue with Jillian. It's just not going to end well for you. The boy is good at talking, and he'll debate circles around you.

Let's derail her thread now, shall we?

Little Weeping was a twat
Didn't know when to shut her trap
Now I don't know where she's at
So it's time to recap:

Told some members to go to hell
Then pissed off about five more
Made herself out to be nobel
With all her religious lore

Now she's gone off
With claims of tears and suicide
And me she'll probably write-off
To this I don't see a downside

I have been a christian. My Mom is christian, and my Dad is Jewish but he doesn't believe in his religion. He's an atheist too. Still, I was raised having a big understanding of BOTH religions. I even had a B'nai Mitsvah. It's like a Bat Mitsvah and a Bar Mitsvah, but with both genders and all at once. It was at the Peretz School on learning. Anyways, although I was raised as both, I chose atheist. happy now?
