Baby Born On Train.
AHMEDABAD, India (Reuters) - A newborn baby girl survived an ignoble birth after slipping down the toilet bowl of a moving Indian train onto the tracks when a pregnant woman unexpectedly gave birth while relieving herself on Tuesday.

"My delivery was so sudden," said the Bhuri Kalbi, the mother of the infant, born two months prematurely. "I did not even realise that my child had slipped from the hole in the toilet."
Kalbi, a 33-year-old woman from a village in Rajasthan, fainted on the toilet seat after the birth for a few minutes before waking up and alerting her family.
"They stopped the train and ran on the tracks to find the baby," she said, speaking from her hospital bed in the western city of Ahmedabad.
Railway staff at a nearby station were alerted and soon found the newborn girl lying uninjured on pebbles by the track. She is now in intensive care because of her premature birth, doctors said.
Most toilets on Indian trains are filthy chutes emptying directly onto the tracks.

You know, I'd figure the baby would have been dragged by the umbelicle cord or something. How could she not have felt it? Probably the most painless birthing ever given.

Yes, people don't usualy expect a premature birth.

How the hell it survive?
And if the woman fainted then she obviously knew at that point she had given birth, especially if she came round and alerted her family.
Now considering those points, why the fuck did she flush the toilet?!

Maybe it was just a hole and didn't need to be flushed.

Who says there was a flush? It's an indian train mind you, toilets there are just holes in the floor with a seat over them.

The placenta and cord to the baby are all attached, so when the baby came out so did the afterbirth. Personally, I'm calling bullshit though on this one. I'm betting that she didn't want the baby and thought if she "accidently gave birth while on the toliet" then the baby would die b/c of the fall onto the tracks. That the kid lived just shows she's a tough little kid and will kick her mom's ass later in life.
Also, it's umbilical cord, not umbelicle cord.

Holy cow! That's one tough kid! XD
And I've heard of incidents where women gave birth suddenly like this. It's usually when the woman has given birth several times before, and it's just not as big of a deal for her body.

I agree actually. She probably was pregnant by another man and wanted rid of it to avoid mutalation, they're wacky out there in Indian.
In all seriousness though, Im sure "suprise" labour would have lasted more than 2 mins, the time it would take for her to realise she was actually in labour and get the fuck off the hole in the ground!

Because I'm a grammar Nazi:
* "Mutilation", not "Mutalation".
* "India" when talking about the country, "Indian" when talking about a person from the country.
* "I'm", not "Im"
* "Surprise", not "suprise"
* "Labor" not "Labour" [unless this is a British English vs. American English spelling.]
* "Realize" not "Realise"
The reason I point these out is that it seriously hurts your cred if you can't use grammar and spelling properly. :/

Not only am I aware of every one of those things you pointed out but I am also in school, a wonderous place where those in charge like to breathe down your neck and monitor everything you do so I often feel the need to rush when I'm typing online. And "Indian" was a typo, I'm not retarded. Ok? You feel better now?

Just making sure, dearie.
If you feel rushed, then wouldn't it be better to wait until you're at home and -not- rushed..?

I'm sure she would.
Unfortunately for her, I'm a former English teacher, and just can't let things slide.
Besides which, how am I supposed to take a post seriously when every other word is horribly misspelled or misused?

No, but I -am- dangerous. >=)
It's not sad, it's honest. No one's going to take her seriously if she doesn't learn how to communicate properly.

I think you are lonely. I think you have no friends. I think this is because you're a douche who keeps on correcting people on their shit and then telling them they won't be taken seriously unless they're just like you. I think you're a tool.

I'm a tool, eh?
Well, there's one thing for sure; you're the first person to EVER call me anything like that. XD
If she wants to keep doing what she's doing, then she's more than free to do so.
