I really, really hate the people I work with over at the radio station (mines my bbf, a'course). This one 26 year old loser constantly insults me and tries to make it seem like he is giving me advice. He's a total fuck and I'm not a mess, thank you. God forbid I wear "wacky" clothes and dye my hair and draw my eyebrows on..because obviously all those things mean I'm "broken" right? I finally put on my big girl pants and said something and he acted like I was in the wrong. Fuck him, fuck them.

Well, young love is challenged by historical brevity. All I can say is another love will come along to you someday. I know they will, you are one who is unafraid to give away her heart to the right person.

This depression has been going on for six months now. I've really reached my breaking point.

Oh, seek and I broke up a LONG time ago. He wasn't being very nice to me. I really miss him though.

Some girl who I am not friends with and have barely spoken to, has invited me to her birthday party tonight. She's got quite a few of her own friends going already so I'm pretty confident that she has only done this to get a present off of me.
God, I hate it when people do that.

Yeah, but he's more frigid than I am. I think that if I was with a guy I really liked, we'd get on like a house on fire.
Plus, I sometimes feel relieved when the date is over. I feel a little awkward and nervous when I'm with him...
Is it unfair for me to lead him on, or should I keep going out with him?

Why would you not be allowed to bring a violin to school?

If you don't like him, don't date him.

Perhaps you should date just one person like most people do. Do they know about eachother? Are they comfortable with it if they do? Do you not think it dishonest and sly to date two people at the same time?

I had a problem with that.
But my patience pulled through I guess.
My advice is don't get involved in those types of relationships.
If the person or you cannot not give up the other person to be with you because you are uncomfortable with that type of relationship - leave the relationship.
Honeythorn, I agree with you whole with your last question, unless they know about each other.
Regardless, I think dating two people at one allows the dater to escape the general responsibilities of a mono relationship.
Like say you got into a fight with one of the people your dating, you could just go off to the other person not thinking about the fight at all and wondering if you hurt the other person or if you were wrong in it.
I think dating two people just gives the dater more freedom without truly understanding what it means to love a person.
They would just have another person to go to that made up all the other qualities the other person they were dating lacked.
Plus, poly is just not my bag.
Wow, that was long.

My girlfriend started her period.
She's not pregnant.
You have no idea how happy I am.

They both knew about each other and they both wanted me to date the other. An enemy of mine convinced her the path of drugs was better than having a girlfriend, and my ex knew how much I hated drugs. So she was telling everyone she was gonna break up with me, but I broke it off first because I wasn't going to sit around and wait for her to finally tell me and stop being ridiculous about it.

Double post - Sorry.
Apparently, my ex girlfriend was pretending to do drugs so we would break up because she didn't want to do it. Plus she wants to date my boyfriend.

I'm guessing about as happy as I was sad to see you so worried when you and she didn't even have sex.

Sadly, it's pretty simple.
I'm naive about sex.
As much as I've learned, as much as I've tried to figure it out, I have a lot of book knowledge and very little real world experience. So when something comes up that isn't really covered, I freak.
Ignorance genuinely scares me.

Are you stupid?
What, did you think she was going to give birth to the messiah or something?
(I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt and assuming she wouldn't cheat on you.)

Actually, in this regard I am pretty stupid. As I said, I'm naive.
I was under the impression that if semen came in to contact with the vagina, there was a possibility of pregnancy.

It is an understandable mistake, and there is an extremely small chance that a pregnancy could have occurred, but I'm glad that things have worked out

That is true, however, I guess I was wrong to give YOU the benefit of the doubt then.
If you think semen+vagina=pregnancy, DON'T LET YOUR SEMEN GET NEAR HER VAGINA.
Just a nice tip.
That's why people use condoms. Sex or no sex, put a fucking condom on.
And if you're "naive," don't experiment. You shouldn't be engaging in sex acts if you know so little about the consequences.

See, this advice works perfectly in hindsight.
Last week I thought I wasn't naive, I thought I knew enough be safe and still have fun, and I thought that I had thought of all the consequences.
However, it turns out that I'm human, I don't have a supercomputer for the brain, and I didn't calculate a couple of possible scenarios and consequences. Considering there's no "Guide to engaging in sexual acts that aren't actually sex", I did the best with what I had at the time.
I know I'm naive know, and I have a lot to learn. I didn't know that then, and I'm admitting I made a mistake.
