Bram Stoker's Dracula. I didn't really like it, the love story with Mina and Dracula was silly, and further drove a stake in the heart of the vampire myth, they went from bloodthirsty monster to misunderstood gentlemen. I miss vampires that scare me

I may be wrong, but wasn't Drac the first vampire... So how can he destroy the myth, when he is the myth....

Oh, and the last movie I saw was the the Dark Knight, for the third time

He was, but in the book he was a scary motherfucker. He was also based on Vlad the Impaler, who got that name by doing some pretty horrorific things. In the movie he just lamented his dead wife and Mina, and every time he walks near a girl she orgasms. It wasn't the Dracula mythos that destroyed the myth, its just this movie romanticized him.

Oh, I haven't seen the film. I once saw a TV version with Danny Blue from Hustle in it. It was okay. In the book, he was scary, I suppose, but vampirism is a little sexual anyway. I mean, the control aspect, and the exchanging of fluids, so maybe they just built on and Hollywood-ised it.

I will blame Anne Rice for this trend. Damn you, Anne Rice!!!

I like vampires because they scared me when I was little. I remember having a nightmare about that Simpsons Halloween special and a short story called Vampire For Hire by Bruce Coville convinced me that a vampire lived outside my house. I get all disappointed when I watch a vampire movie now and it turns out to be a romance movie. And it seems with new vampire movies and books thats what it turns out to be. *le sigh.*

It was a cute movie I must say.

Ju-On: The Grudge 2. It was alright, not really scary though. It's far better than the american version however. And that little Toshio kid is cute in an undead sort of way.

Cen0bite: Yeah, no kidding. :/ Still not as bad as Suicide Club though.

Last Movie I Watched: The Singing Detective. Not what you'd expect, but a very interesting look into the psyche of a f'ked-up mind..

"I'm comin mother fuckers!"
and then "Ye im back mother fuck- oh shit, I CANT STOP"

Hellboy 2: The Golden Army; I thought it was pretty good. I was expecting to find Hellboy (the character) irritating because his skin has a stupid texture and his macho thing sucks. But actually it wasn't so bad, the Angel Of Death thing was pretty awesome, and so was Abe.

Princess Nuada sucked, but her twin made up for it. He reminded me of some cross breed of Legolas and Lucius Malfoy with a bit of Jet Li added for good measure.

Vampire Hunter D, the 1985 one. Fell asleep near the end.....I really can't remember the last cartoon I watched that had such terrible, awful voice acting. The movie plot wise was a bit better than the book IMO, but jesus...The vampires had proper accents (Transylvanian), I hated Doris already so her having an awful voice actor just made me hate her even more, and even though she had a north american accent her little brother had an english accent? And this other guy who had a north american accent had a son with a Spanish accent?

But it had that line I love. "I love you." "I know."

I watched Soul Survivors yesterday, it's horrible, not in a good way

I'm watching Mortal Combat right now, it makes me laugh, because when i was 4 i guess, we had the game but i never knew there was a movie... So I'm sitting and remembering characters from when i was a kid

The EPG says there's Equilibrium next... Which is a great movie!!

Last movie I watched was Fight Club. Yep, my friends finally badgered me into seeing it. Apart from a few minor points I actually found it fascinating. But then I am a sucker for those "oops, I seem to have multiple personalities" type of movies.

Suspiria. Visually, it was great. The overall plot was alright. The acting wasn't brilliant.

Nevertheless I enjoyed it. Though possibly for the eye candy aspect.
