June 14 - New York, NY - The Fillmore at Irving Plaza
June 17 - Cleveland, OH - Venue TBA

June 20 - Chicago, IL - Venue TBA
June 23 - Houston, TX - Venue TBA
June 25 - TBA
June 27 - San Francisco, CA - Venue TBA

Theres also word of what remains of Specimen coming along to join the fun.

Whoa whoa whoa. Let's not get too hyped up...

First of all, not too many venues are secured.

Second of all, this just sounds like a bad idea considering that many people are not keen on Ollie and Johnny doing techno these days, let alone their newest album and that the Fiends are clearly burned out on touring and will more than likely be phoning their stuff in if they don't get invigorated by touring around the States.

Third, the muthafuckin ticket prices. Do you really wanna pay $200 (VIP) to talk to a bunch of burned out scenesters pushing 50-60 who will either haughtily ignore your eager questions about the Batcave out of standard goth denial or go way too into detail just to shut you up/get into your wallet? I'd much rather (and already) do that for free.

Seriously, for that price, Nik and Christine better be doing "Batman" in the costumes or Jon Klein will be talking about how Pete Burns from Dead or Alive and his wife kicked his ass in an alley outside a pub.

I recall there being a lengthy discussion about those very points on Deathrock.com.

I won't be in the country when they come around. I would go to the concert if I had the chance, it might be fun. I sure as hell wouldn't pay upwards of $100 for a meet 'n greet though. That whole bit seemed like an insult.

The fact that there wasn't a date for San Diego sealed it for me and a lot of the TBAs made me think that either they'll pushed back or canceled. But, oh how sweet it would be, if the Fiends came earlier to the States for Wake The Dead 2.

If Specimen is how they are now (without the original guys) then it'll be eh. I just want to see ASF play (even though they don't have the original guys either). Like any other show, I want to go, watch, then leave. None of that special crap. General admition tickets shouldn't be that much, right?

Sex Gang would be a different story, though.

It's being billed as the original lineup of specimen, which presumably means Olli Wisdom, Jonny Slut et al.

Maybe if the members didn't hate each other and Andi wasn't barred from playing in the US. (Apparently, assault and battery)

I don't know too much but the charges ranged from kidnapping to terrorism and they seem to be dropped. But apparently simply being arrested and charged is enough for deportation.

Anyone know how much non-VIP tickets are? If they aren't too much I would love to see them in D.C.

Well it does tend to be difficult to get tickets if they don't have a venue yet so you may just have to be patient

If they only come as far as California, it'll be me that's taking you, I think

It'd be nuts if Specimen toured with. Let's all hope they wouldn't pass it up?
