My dad has four kids, but he's currently feuding with my sister, and has just never gotten along with me.

One of my profs. gave me a FREE VINYL today (Eight Frozen Modules, Duckman...I think they would be right up your alley) , and I also got a FREE COFFEE, and picked up 3 really good FREE BOOKS.
It was a good day.

My mom has been in and out of rehab (for both physical rehab and drug abuse) since I was younger, she's forgotten who I am while on drugs, acted in incredibly selfish ways that put me in direct and severe danger multiple times, and has several mood/personality disorders.
As for my near robotic practicality and coldness--you're right, these are the reasons I am that way. When you grow up with craziness all around you, you have to be able to see what is real and what is not. I'm rational and realistic to a fault.
