Pineapple milkshake.
I just made a pineapple milkshake with some fresh pineapple I had in my fridge. It was so tastey at first... but about halfway through drinking my delicious creation I began to get this horrible bitter taste on the back of my tongue. And now it wont go away, this is the first time pineapple has ever betrayed me. :[

No, when I had eaten some of the pineapple earlier that night by itself it left a slight bitter taste...but nowhere near as bad as in the milkshake.

What's wrong with mixing pineapple with vanilla ice cream? Vanilla ice cream topped with pineapple is yummies!! Meat Nugget I think your pineapples were a bit off. A milkshake with fresh, sweet, low ph, pineapples sounds lovely right about now...
