Glad you enjoyed my comment. It is so true though.

There are other things too, things that are wrong that I've seen in every group. It seems like there are always a totem pole of authority. New people are always trying to impress everyone and show their loyalty.

They will do stupid things to other people, spreading hatred and problems. I remember in school there was this rocker chick that broke into my gym locker, spilled my blush and put everything out in the hall. She was doing it to be cool. Like people who never talk to you suddenly wanting to talk to you to create some headline news. Actually a twisted interpretation or a "misunderstanding" (basically lying) about the conversatsion. It is extremely bitchy.

I sat here for like 10 mins trying to find a reply to that.
My reply was close to yours but probably would have gone on for about 15 lines. You summed it all up in 3.

o.O There's a difference yes...But you're not really reading in between the lines. -_- Must you be so literal, and illogical? It's annoying really.

If I see a bunch of chavs I get all...eeek! but they never do anything. I'm allowed though...a group of them threw a pitchfork at my head once...luckily, I ducked.

That's not the point though, usually they aren't wielding large gardening tools. It's just fear and in general, they don't say or do anything. Aslong as people fear what is unfamiliar...then almost all people will experience fear of subcultures.

It is probably preferable to have chavs, in particular, be scared of alternative people (goths/emos/hippies/metalheads/etc). That way, they won't try and pull anything funny.

I must say that I've never seen chavs fuck with metalheads. I wonder why that is. HA!

I know, lol...it was ridiculous...they think i'm wierd.

They started screaming..."DEATH TO THE GOTH!" and I was just like...well done....then they started throwing beer at me...waste of beer I say....then came the pitchfork.

It is quite scary, they easily could have killed me...for some reason though I don't feel upset about it or anything. I just pity those particular people for their stupidity and obvious lack of anything else to do...plus I was 15 at the time and they were 25-30. So...people 10 years older than me, picking on me for a dumb reason. It is all rather pathetic.

Chavs are really just cowards. They NEVER confront people if they're alone and if they do gang up on you and you fight back, they run. Trust me. Been there, done that.

You have to be willing to fight dirty and fight with a "kill or be killed" mentality. They pick up on that real quick.

How am I illogical? Sorry to hear that I annoy you, but that is illrelevant.

Knives, when handled improperly, have the potential to kill people, even if by accident.

Clothing worn by a person, does not. I'd have to work REALLY hard to get this black and white striped tank-top that I'm wearing to kill someone. There's not even enough material to strangle someone.

Big difference.

>.> What we see now, is "normal" the non-executions...Jail, blue jeans or a suit...Etc, and the "rebellious" teenagers. Depends on what actions we took through time, if it had gone the opposite way, well then we would be having a conversation on how people not carrying weapons everywhere they go is scary, or funny or something. Or rather, that's what people have us perceive as normal.

You got a good point. "Normal" is pretty subjective, though.

^^ Exactly. Is which why people fear gays, goths, emos. Though it seems to come out in either hostility or when people "admire" them. o.O As humans we're cool like that.

When I was in college, I knew this guy who was kind of a head case (he overdid the drugs and wound up in a mental institution). The guy, Jack, was like five feet tall and maybe a hundred and ten pounds. Anyway, one night a bunch of us had been drinking in this bar and one of the guys I was with got in a small fight with this other dude. Nothing serious, just some shoving and swearing. So this other guy waited, and when we left he and his buddies followed us out, and stood behind him looking mean while he went all warrior king, threatening shit. Jack stood and listened with this crazy-eyed look, then when the guy had finished and they started closing in (there were about eight of them, and four of us), he jumped on the guy and bit his face. For real, just bit right into his cheek, then stood there looking psychotic. Luckily he didn't break the skin, else he could have disfigured the dude and wound up in jail, but it left one fuckin' purple mark.

Needless to say, they all ran off.
