The character is still there, they just have a different girl playing her. I actually thought that she did a fairly good job, the scrip on the other hand...well it was crap, it did manage to be entertaining crap though

Solumina: Oh good! She was one of my favorite characters.
Yeah, I don't expect it to be spectacular; I may wait for it to come out on DVD or something. However, I -am- looking forward to seeing Hamlet 2.

HA! That's a swizz I've caught them before! Does this face say married to you? Nope.
Besides I'm dubious of the merits of marriage and engagement after the fiascoes surrounding my friends. One broke off her engagement last year because he was seeing someone behind her back, and another has done the exact same for the same reason this week!!
And to top it off the girl he was cheating on her with is clingy, fat, UGLY ( she looks like a stone with two eyes a nose and a mouth, or one of the Podlings from the Dark Crystal ) and has been to the clinic for STD's more than once, she's had HIV tests and has contracted genital warts before. My friend said he was " scratching his knob constantly " last time they spoke/argued, which isn't something he usually does apparantly. And he blatantly admitted they were less than careful more than once. Serves him right! She deserves so much better than him. I never liked him much .

*Puts a cannon ball sized mint ball, and puts it into a candy canon. He aims the canon at a candy fortress, and lights the fuse. Seconds later the mint canonball destroys said fortress* Yippie-ki-yay motherfucker! Candy Destruction at it's best!

I bought a Stray Cats cassette at the secondhand store today despite the fact that I didn't think my cassette player worked anymore. To my surprise and satisfaction, I found that it does, in fact, work marvelously. Fuck, I'm happy.

Back on the ship after a five week break at home. The break was nice, but I feel more at home on the ship than I do at home. After more than three years with this job, I feel like a visitor when I'm home.

Bad things- I have to get my whole room cleared in just a few hours, and pack up clothing to take to my friend at work, because I'll be staying with her for the next while. I am effectively homeless and will be relying on her parents' goodwill and patience. I *do not* like this set up.
I do not yet have a new flat sorted out, due to problems previously outlined, and work means I just don't have time during the day to do any searching for new places. I still have no net access at work, so I'm stuck searching only in those few hours when I get home at night, between doing laundry, helping my friend's parents around the house, eating, etc.
Vagabonds clashes with Club Subversion, so even though I have the perfect outfit and new, improved rope skills, I can't go to Subversion because I have already promised to be at the goth club.
Good things- I am getting better with shibari, and have been practicing on myself. I learned how to tie a trinity knot and a double coin knot from the TKB videos, and then used these new skills in making a basic torso harness on myself. It's very decorative, so I'm really quite pleased with the overall effect- especially since I had to do bits of it behind my own back! I got a few pictures, but they're not suitable for posting on GNet.
I've kept the knots in the rope and will be taking it with me today when I go to London, as my creature may agree to being prettily bound. If he doesn't, I know someone else who will- I can present her all nicely beribboned to her boyfriend as part of his birthday celebrations. It's going to be a busy night- CCK first for L's birthday gathering, with heavenly cake and suitable debaucheries. Then to Vagabonds, for socialising, goth music, dancing, etc. Then on to Slimelight after Vagabonds, for further dancing till about 7.30am when we're kicked out. Then, hopefully, up to Archway to stay at K's place for a few hours' nap before going back to Colchester to smile nicely and hope that my friend's parents haven't thought better of their offer to let me stay with them.

Even if you were, you shouldn't be embarrassed about it. Besides, I doubt that anyone cares.

Out of curiousity, is that number any special?

Rozz Williams, who fronted the good incarnation of Christian Death, had a fixation with it, because, if I recall, the year 1334 AD marked the first outbreak of the black plague. For this reason, 1334 is widely considered to be the most goth sequence of digits on the number line.
