That picture doesn't seem sexual in the slightest to me. There's no flange on view despite the angle, and the whole vibe of the thing is really as far from sexual as is possible in my eyes. The only thing on show is her legs close up. That isn't really sexual considering the style of the photo, and even if someone does find it to be so and keeps it for er..personal use, then there's not much you can do to stop them anyway. Why would it even matter?

Ok so work rang. I'm back in on Monday. You'd think this was a good thing and in a way it is because that means money for me. But what I want to know is how fucking long will I be in work for this time? A week? Two? . It's bloody ridiculous. Their website is SHIT, and as far as I know the only person who goes out to pimp the boxes and sell stuff / get orders in is Jim. There are only 3 of them in that office, Jim ,Joan and Jackie the three fucking musketeers. Joan's got a face like a slapped arse crossed with a bulldog chewing a wasp. I hope to fuck she isn't going round looking like she does, trying to get people to buy the damn things because if she is, we are DOOMED. She just exudes misery and doesn't even know how the bastard things are made on a machine. Jim is a grouchy old bastard as well.

I mean, why fucking bother running a factory if you can't get your arse in gear and do some hard selling? I know fuck all about sales and marketing but even I can see that something is VERY wrong with the way they're going about everything. Why can't they hire a salesperson or two and get them going round showcasing the work to companies? They've already lost a major company due to the fact that the boxes they wanted and the cover paper they chose was incompatible with the machines, which meant that no matter how hard you try they came off looking shit. Ray ( manager) doesn't give a flying fuck about quality and went round saying " oh it's only Rona ( the company ) send them out anyway " well considering the state of the crap we sent out ( and we weren't given enough time to try and get the machine to make them better ) I don't blame Rona in the slightest for cancelling their orders. And they ordered a LOT of boxes. Shitloads.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jim's had to go crawling to them to try and get them to order again. Wanker.

I've been trying to make a CV and get another job but the likelyhood of that occurring is infentisimal.

Automatic Spell Check. Without it, I fail . . . . miserably.

So what do I do? My boyfriend's stalker-like ex-hookup that lives in Virginia is coming to visit? She was going to "come hang out" with him anyway, and a much as I enjoy seeing him panic and get all wierded out, I do not want her anywhere near him without supervision.

If you can't trust him with her, you can't trust him at all.
Be with someone better than that.

Ignore my post...

It was not even remotely pornographic to me, BUT there are people who become aroused at the sight of women's shoes. As Dr. Ruth says, "Sex is in the brain."

I have come to dread holidays, because that is when my grandson's father gets the most drunk. He already has a fat lip from getting in a drunken fight with someone last night. He loves Dane but of course his judgment goes out the window when he drinks the way he does. Crap.

Dear HP,

I can relate, except it is my daughter's grandfather who is wrecking the Holiday for the whole family today. At least you can put one positive spin on it. Your grandson has a great grandfather -- pun intended.

Thanks Jaye. I just called my daughter to see if everything is ok and so far...knock on wood...it is.

That's it.

I can't hide it anymore.

I can't lie anymore.

I'm fucking lost.

I have no fucking direction in my life.

My girlfriend is miserable with me, and I want her to be happy, but I don't fucking know how to make her happy. I wan to be with her so much, but I don't know how to make her happy.

I'm not fucking good at anything I do anymore. Anything. I've lost all of my abilities I had with computers, I've lost all of my ability to code, I've lost all of my ability to focus. I've gained more weight, I've let my body atrophy.

I can't think. I'm hitting a fucking brick wall whenever I fucking try to think. Even when things seem to be going so fucking good, everything just drops.

I'm lost, I need help, I need direction, and I don't know what to do.

Obviously you have hit a low point Splintered, but try to think of it this way: highs and lows are natural, but yeah, it sucks to be at the bottom of the sine wave.

I think the stress from you two worrying about the pregnancy is part of what is straining the relationship. Don't just think of making her happy, think of making yourself happy too. But also remember that she needs her space after what she went through. If you try to bring her through it too soon, it will make things worse. Leave her alone and don't try to "fix her".

Regarding the rest of your issues, hitting the "brick wall", what *is* the brick wall? In other words when you try to focus, and something is disrupting your focus, what is it you start thinking about? That is what you must address in order to get your focus back.

For now, try not to think about such long term things as "direction", when in this mood it is best to just try and live one day at a time.

PM me if you want to talk more. Sorry if this isn't helpful.

The brick wall is...

I'm hitting it trying to describe it, if that makes sense. I can't speak very well, so if I don't make sense, it's the fucking wall.

It's like.... If you've been a maze.

You're heading down a long, long, long, long part of the maze. You've dedicated all of your energy energy, and you think you're on the right course. Then you make a turn, and boom, there's a brick wall, and you have to turn completely around. Instead of starting at square 1, you start at square -50.

I'm tired of this. I've written so many rants lately about the latest shit I've had to go through. I'm tired of going through shit. I'm tired of worrying about money, I'm tired of worrying about the relationship, I'm tired of worry about where I'm going to sleep next. I'm tired of college, I'm tired of high school, I'm tired of being told that every career path I consider is out of my reach.

I'm tired of lying to myself that everything is alright.

If I don't respond for a week, it's because I've gone for a long ass walk.

Actually a break is what you need. A mini-vacation. Do something for yourself, even if it is just sleeping late one morning. Your body is telling you it needs to escape.

Thanks HP. I'm going through some major upheavals myself. I thought, being an old fogey, that nothing could faze me, but I can totally relate to Splintered. Major upheavals in your life can make you feel like you've hit a wall. Sometimes it's just being slammed from so many directions you get overwhelmed. The mini-vacation thing is a good idea. Next time I oversleep I won't feel so guilty. Sometimes just getting a second opinion helps, too.

I wish I could contribute more to this thread, but sadly it won't fit with the flow of the post.

I also want to just let this go, but I don't want my reputation being poisoned either. It makes life more annoying than it should be. So I ought to clear up a misconception:

I had never told her that her work was pornographic. I respectfully expressed to her that I was uncomfortable with the picture she posted online, because I couldn't even tell she was wearing anything. She reacted negatively and it became an argument, and eventually she was saying that I was calling it porn.

While I deserve this to be known, I will still admit to being old-fashioned and not appreciating people looking at what appears to be my naked girlfriend - artistically, dirtily - I think I'd be cool with medically.

Try an experiment yourself. Ask any dude on the street if you can see almost nude pictures of his girlfriend, and see if he doesn't sock you in the eye.
It doesn't really work.

So that isn't why, it's because he's selfish and insecure.
I need to rectify this.
I understand and accept that people will look at her sexually. She's very beautiful, and it is unavoidable. That's life, and that's cool.
Now that'll happen out in real life, but the pictures were a step too far.
I mean I'd have appreciated even being asked for my opinion before they were posted.

Although you do have a point, that if I'm so uptight, she might consider leaving. Perhaps she needs someone more liberal, and I need someone less loose.

Now that I've squashed out every reason to continue this debate into our personal affairs, I'll ask that everyone lay off it. Mind your own business, hit the road.

The picture wasn't pornagraphic. It wasn't sexual in the slightest.

Frankly, the idea that she needs your approval to post pictures on her DA of her own body is a bit arrogant.

If she gets naked and throws herself at him, he should be able to walk away.

It shouldn't matter what she does to him.
