Greetings from Despanan
Hey, figured I'd introduce myself. I'm fairly new to the scene (I didn't really get interested in Goth until after college) But a friend told me about these forums so I figured I'd check 'em out. Now, on to the interrogation:
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I'm currently Employed as an Actor for a theatre company in Cincinatti/Columbus Ohio. I spend what free time I have writing, painting and Hiking.
2. Where are you from?
Catania Sicily
3. Who is your favorite author?
Just one? Neil Gaiman is my favorite novelist, Bill Watterson is my favorite cartoonist, David Mamet and David Ives are my favorite playwrights. I also love Shakespeare but that's kind of a given.
4. What are your favorite films?
Oh shit, I guess LOTR, Rent, Mirrormask, The Science of Sleep, and Sweeny Todd.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Haven't really thought that far.
6. At your funeral?
"If I ever leave this world Alive" by Flogging Molly
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
I'd like to die of heart complications brought on by a long life of being awesome, or barring that If any of you remember the Virginia Tech shootings there was a professor who was gunned down while bracing the door to his classroom so his students could escape out the window. I figure that's a worthy way to go as well.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
No Casket. I want my body cremated and my ashes scattered in the wind off the top of a mountain.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Fishnet Shirt, Black and red cloth gauntlets with skull buttons, grey vest, red tie (no collar) Black pants, black riding boots, studded belt with a sex pistols buckle and a top hat (steampunk goggles worn above the brim).
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
I miss the fact that I could completely "waste" a day making up games with my friends or roaming around in the woods. Seems I've become very goal/career oriented in my old age.
11. What's your favorite band?
At the moment I'm infatuated with the Cruxshadows.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I have a B.A. in theatre. I'm considering going to grad school for playwrighting or directing in the future but It's gotta be a school like NYU or Columbia or I won't bother.
13. Why did you join?
I wanted to get more involved in the subculture, and also share a bit of writing.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Male.
Anyway, that's me. I look forward to meeting you guys.

=) Welcome. Indeed, Cruxshadows are amazing, as is Neil Gaiman and the films you listed.

I spoke to our Artistic director about our plan. Looks like he's going to let me take a break! I'll have to drop out of the current musical I'm doing (which is a shame) but the plan is GO. We've just gotta get the details sorted out.

More than a little late, I suppose, but my greetings and good wishes.
Kontan's one of those here I've got respect for, so if you're one of his I'll assume you're one of the good ones. Tis a pity to lose you to the Trail so soon after we've acquired you, but perhaps you'll return afterwards.
...
And please do not take offence to the term 'one of his', my mind tends to assume that people 'belong' to whomever I first find them affiliated with.
