You know, when I say Cow, I don't mean it literally.
We in Scotland say cow either instead of calling someone a bitch (if we can help it) or as a joke ie: "Stop doing that, you stupid cow!".
Jeez.....
And I am great, why do you assume that all teenagers want sex?
I've never had one sexual thought about any of the guys that I've gone out with. Not one. Well, apart from how damned hott they all were (And ended up being jerks). Anyhoo, not the point.
Okay, so maybe I was infatuated. But the thing about me moving to Iceland was genuine. I love that country because they care so much about stuff that most people elsewhere don't. Every year they plant a tree as a message to the rest of the world. I'd be accepted for who I am over there. They don't really have labels over there. People just dress however the Hell they want.
Look, I'm a teen. I've been hurt countless times by guys. Sometimes I hope to God that when I meet a guy he's different. But after a while, I realise that they're not what they claim to be.
Okay, so maybe I was stupid. I act like I'm grown up partly because I was forced to. I don't have a Mum, alright? You try living you teenage life without one who's there for you and gives you advice.
I'll admit that I was wrong about him.
There, you fucking happy?

That's fair enough. We've all been there, to varying degrees.

Oh, don't do that. I don't have a dad, and plenty of people here are missing a parent, so if you're looking for sympathy then you're in the wrong place. It's not an excuse for everything you ever do wrong, and people with two perfect parents will and do still fuck up. It has nothing to do with the matter at hand, and to bring it up as a get out of jail free card for making bad choices is not "acting like a grown-up", it's denying your own agency and therefore acting like a child.

How can you possibly know this after going there once on holiday/for school whatever?

No, you would just be another human being over there. Just like all the others on the planet. You would simply be another faceless person on the street. As we all are. How can you possibly know that the entirety of the Icelandic people do not employ the use of labels? Because you have a few friends from there? Get a grip.

A vast proportion of the people on the planet do this. The Icelandic are not special in this regard.

You guys are being kind of mean, she does'nt have a mom and this guy broke her heart. Although I have learned from this place that alot of gothics are'nt tolerant as I thought they would be but still, give her a break. People are prepared to die for love, is moving that big of a deal?

So if we listen to different music and dress differently, we have to be tolerant of everyone now? Did I miss a memo on this?

First of all, not having a mother has nothing to do with this. Period.
Second of all, this guy didn't "break her heart." She allowed her heart to be broken because she believed that because a sixteen year old kid said he liked her he was going to put his entire life on hold for three years until she could go live with him.
Keep in mind, he BARELY KNEW HER.

Yeah, but not having a mother did make a heck of a change in my life.
She gave me up. She didn't want me and then 11 years later, she showed up and screwed things up even more.
And I wanted to move close to him, not in with him. I was planning to move to central Reykjavik. He lives near Keflavik which is about 30 minutes away in a car from Reykjavik.
Anyhoo.
weepingblood, these guys are right.
Now that I realised how much of an idiot I was, I see that it wasn't love. It was probably lust. I am still yet to learn the differnce between the two....

Right, and my mother being on drugs off and on and endangering me severely on more than one occasion, plus a father who regularly screams at me for literally no reason makes a heck of a change in my life.
Get over it, because it's no excuse to behave badly and act like an asshole.

No, I don't.
I hate my Grandmother. She doesn't like what I am. She doesn't like the fact that I'm not going to be a lawyer like her and my Grandad wanted.
UO, I'm just trying to make a point. People deal with things differently. I deal with my Mum differently than you deal with your parents.

You sure do relay information she tells you. I suggest you go suck a dick or something.
