Don't worry, only Meth will be able to pass it (I don't count, I created the damned thing)...

Actually I'm surprised I got that, I guessed on all of them.
I actually don't know anything about any bands I listen to, save maybe the name of the lead singer.

Indeed...
Question nr 5 is actually tricky since two of the songs mentioned take shots at the others.

Only Meth would get that. That is true, I didn't think about the fact 'dance the ghost with me' was a reference to Gary Marx's band after his departure. >.<

Yeah, I'm a casual listener and honestly, I can't be bothered to put any artist on a huge pedestal to know all the ins and outs of their lives. Hell, I'm not even that fanatic about Rogue DuPont.

I'm "a fan" too, barely passing with an incredibly gothic score of 66 (.6)%.

I feel like the real loser now since I took all those questions off the top of my head. I have too much time on my hands to know obscure facts about a band.

They're a goth rock band from the 80s. One of the best ones.

I got casual listener as well. But honestly, I don't care about the bands I listen to a lot - that is, not to know such things. I focus on the music instead and have hours of fun taking that apart piece by piece. Having studied music I just can't stop analysing it. :P

I scored "A fan of The Sisters." I'd like to see all of the correct answers.

Highlight to read answers...
1: 1959 (A girl, perhaps named 'Isabella', wrote and asked for a piano and Eldritch-vocal only song)
2: Under the Gun
3: Dominion (Petra is in Israel, near Gaza)
4: Doctor Jeep (Some Girls Wander was a collection of older B-side and demos. Doctor Jeep was release in the Sister's final album, Vision Thing)
5: This Corrosion is aimed at former Sisters members' new band, The Mission. However, 'dance the ghost with me', is sarcastically aimed at another former TSoM member's group, Ghost Dance.
6: Vision Thing, in this album Eldritch decided to disconnect the Sisters of Mercy from 'goth', which he had grown disillusioned with. A view of the band's official site mentions 'goth' only as g*** and makes many sarcastic referances to the subculture.
7: Doctor Jeep: "..Here come the Hezbollah; Businessmen from South Miami, humming to AOR.."
8: Temple of Love was remixed in 1992, into a three minute dance hit, featuring Ofra Haza.
9: The title track for the album Vision Thing was a phrase uttered by the first President Bush, referring to his long-term political ambitions. The 'billion-dollar vision thing' refers to the vastly expansive and expensive foreign policy of the United States.
10: A first version of Black Planet shows Eldritch without his shades, but was later dropped for the offical video release.
11: Former Gun Club bassist Patricia Morrison claims she left after Eldritch failed to pay her what she was owed for her involvement with Floodland. Though she was in the videos for Dominion, Lucretia, This Corrosion, and appeared to sing, her name appears no where on the Sister's website or in the credits of the album.
12: Detonation Boulevard
13: Mother Russia "..Stuck inside of Memphis with the mobile home.." is a play on the Bob Dylan song, 'Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again'.
14: Accordng to the Sisters of Mercy FAQ, "We did, however, once turn down an offer of £200,000 (very approximately $300,000) to headline some g*** fest in Whitby. Go figure."
