Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Its That Time Again...
I need some music reccomendations again
As i'm going to be the lead singer of a band now *does victory dance* I need to find new bands to do covers of.
I want to ind bands that are similar to Seether, Stone Sour, Disturbed, Korn, Dope, Eighteen Visions, Ignite, Katatonia, Red Hot Chili Peppers and dare I say...System Of A Down...
Any help would be very greatly appreciated

Saliva, Staind, Shinedown, Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Sevendust, Alter Bridge, TRUSTCompany, Three Doors Down, Switchfoot, pretty much any 'alternative' rock or Post-Grunge that doesn't suck.
EDIT: You won't be able to do System Of A Down except if every musician in the band is awesome and you have the vocal range of a god. Some of SOAD's more obscure stuff shows Serj Tankian flexing the vocal chords and there's a really good chance you won't even come close to reaching it.

Vocal range of God? He sounds like an idiot singing. (Serj not the poster) He sounds unattractively whiny at some points, and very nasally and obnoxious at others. One of the worst vocalists I've ever heard. Up there with Ozzy and Glen Danzig.

The Enemy by Godsmack would be a fun cover.
