Who cares if someone makes that kind of topic? If you don't like it, don't look at it. Whining about it isn't going to get the people who make them to stop making them.
Now, if someone makes an "I'm leaving" topic, then doesn't leave, then makes another a month down the road, then still doesn't leave, etc., that's a different story.
