Oh I know its more than likely a raccoon, but those pictures make it look even more like a piggy ^_^

Erm, in those second pictures the hands aren't bound. Soo....they took an initial picture, unbound it, moved it around, took more pictures.....doesn't that seem a little strange?

There were several reports of some beach guys moving the body.

Those new pictures do help. It looks much more like a pig-type animal and a lot less like a raccoon.

hmm, you're right Kontan. and apparently someone called animal control, but they never showed.

But it just boggles me that you find a weird looking animal corpse, obviously rotting, and you pick at it?

That second set of pictures confirmed my initial thought that the 'beak' was actually just a bit of skull. To me it looks like a dog, probably of one of the more stocky breeds. It's difficult not knowing the scale of the photos though.

It's pretty small. Look at the flies on its shoulder and back leg in this pic:

Also, it's almost certainly a dog or raccoon. All the bullshit about a beak was so stupid I had to laugh or cry when I read it.

If I had to guess, I'd say it was probably a puppy/small breed (based on size) that ended up in the water. I'm not even gona hazard a guess at breed, the corpse is too bloated/partially decomposed for that.
Also, I don't actually know what size raccoons get too, so I can't say for sure whether it's a serious candidate for it.

But yeah, the corpse is smallish, roughly Staffy sized I would say.
