Hello, and welcome to g-net.

Just so you know, here's some tips so you don't get flamed.

1) There is a questionnaire on the sticky on the introductions thread to complete.

2) Correct grammar is appreciated here, and you will most likely get flamed if you don't do capitals, and correct spellings. Just spell check your posts in MS Word if this is not your forte.

3) Please don't revive dead threads (older than about a month) unless you have something new and relevant to add to it. I notice that you have posted a hundred and thirty something times today; that is too fucking much, they can't all be relevant.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy your stay here!

I see you've finally found the intro forum.

21? Really? I couldn't have imagined you were any older than 10 after you posted inane one-liners in EVERY SINGLE THREAD IN THE GENERAL FORUM.

Not a big forum goer? Makes sense since you seem to be unaware of forum etiquette. Don't write pointless one-line posts that have nothing to add to the discussion, and don't post in really old threads that haven't been visited in months. What you've been doing is called spamming and it's ANNOYING AS HELL. And use proper capitalization and punctuation, for fucksake.

This is all probably falling on deaf ears, since you don't seem to read threads after you've posted in them once.

Yeah... what they said... If you're truly nice and kind hearted, Don't do that ever again... because it'll give a bad picture about you in whichever forum you're posting. Anyways, welcome to gnet!

Welcome, but watch out for the sharks. They have flame throwers..

Also, I'd have to agree; be careful what you post, and make sure that it's in context and contributes to the conversation.

Hey ! First of all I want to thank those of you who have given me a warm welcoming so far, it is appreciated very much. To those of you criticizing me for posting in so many threads, where is your gripe ? Granted, spelling and puncuation are acceptable criticism when presented incorrectly and I totally accept this and will make sure to watch in the future. However, for those of you getting upset with my posts in multiple threads, thats just rediculous. This IS a forum, meant to be posted upon. In no way am I wrong by acknowleding a thread with a post. I will in future times, try to avoid older posts as well, however, this really does not deserve the hate you are giving me either. As a new member, it should not be considered completely and utterly wrong for me to look upon older threads, and if I find them interesting, to post my ideas. Though you may not find them to be acceptable ideas/posts, they are mine and not all are there to make you feel any more knowledgable on the thread, because you know, my posts are not meant to please everyone, but are there for my personal satisfaction as well as to show that I have found a liking to the thread. And lastly, it's incredible to see how blatantly rude some of you are to a newbie here just because I posted something you did not like. I could see if I had pointed someone out and/or posted negative things, but none of this has been done nor will be done by me in the future. Please people, don't try to be so controlling of other's ideas and posts. And lastly, to some, not all, as I'm sure I will get more hate after this, try to be a little nicer maybe.. ?

Was your posts related to the topic at hand or just inane spam? I don't really know you. But you must have done something slightly wrong to get some of these people riled. Though I can't be too sure about that.

Welcome anyway.

Hun, it's not wise to tell kikrox to get a grammar book when you can't even spell grammar correctly.

Ahh, yes. I was looking at that thread before. I honestly don't care if people misspell certain words or don't always use correct grammar - I'm guilty of it myself. The only reason I said that to Geoluhread was because it wasn't nice of her to bash on kikrox when she's also guilty of it herself.

This IS a forum, meant to converse with other people. We're persons, not sequences that post arguments so that you might approve or not. Because that's all that you do.
You haven't given anything to the conversations you've posted. You just go in and say "hmm, interesting" and that's virtually it.
We have all the right to be mad at you, because you're the one that's being inane. It's like there's tiny little conversations in a room and instead of joining one, you just go into each one and interrupt by saying "nice conversation!"

Technically, hers was spelling, not grammar. Geo has impeccable grammar, and the thread used as rebuttal can justify her spelling.

Yes, you are right Jillian. Geo has impeccable grammar except for a few rare instances where she didn't. It happens to all of us. The issue will now be dropped.

Sorry about that Geo.

So, again, tell me why that is wrong. I'm sorry, but maybe I don't feel the need to join in on certain conversations BUT, however, I do read the forum and find the thread interesting. Soo, If I want to show this by stating that in a post and showing it with my little comment that you deem pointless, then that shouldn't really bother others too much, and if it does, really, I'm sorry. Honestly, I am not one to get on the bad sides of people. However, since I am an agreeable person I will try to please the other posters as much as possible in my future posts. I just like to see things work out for the best and I'd prefer my introduction to you people be on a positive, high spirited note
Cheers !

If you want a practical reason other than simple etiquette and harmony, then think of this:
By responding to THREE FULL PAGES of threads in the General Section as you pleased, you have now made us lose several threads in which we were having conversations amidst the scores of others we had already settled. Just look at Catch's thread of the Gnet triangle. Now she cannot find the thread of Video Post because it's been bumped down by stupid threads better left to oblivion like "looking for a bi goth" and "pointy ears"

Ok. Well as I stated earlier, I am new to this forum, as well forums in general. That is just something I honestly did not realize before you bringing it up to me. I am sorry for this. And I thank you for opening my eyes to such. I appreciate the positive criticism and advice. Again, future posts will show improvements as per posters requests. Thankyou.

Ugh. Because you've posted sofuckingmuch, I can't find all of the posts I last posted in. Please don't post mindless drivel into dead threads just to up your post count.

Kikrox: Honestly, I don't think folks would have minded quite so much had you first lurked here to find out how things are done, or at least read the newbie posts at the top of each forum to see what it was about and how to post appropriately.

Also, if you want to get along with folks here, then you can't be worried about pleasing everyone, because it's just not going to happen. Folks want to know your honest thoughts on things, and not just a neutral answer that's not really an answer at all. :/

Don't be scared to share your real thoughts and opinions, but also be aware that if you don't have any opinion either way, then you don't have to post. Just read until something catches your interest.

Hope this helps!

Unimatrix: It seems a bit odd that you of all people are criticizing a newbie. O.o What happened to freedom of posting?
