Ophie, make sure you stay hydrated. Okay. Can you get ahold of ice chips? If so, take a small amount at a time once the vomiting stops. That way you will be able to keep enough water down so you don't get dehydrated. If you cannot keep anything down, you need to hossyfoot over to the ER. Okay?

Heh.
Funny you say that.

Sarah: I'm extremely sick. I just vomited four times.
Sarah's Friend: Go to a doctor!
Sarah: No.
Sarah's Friend: But what if you don't get better?
Sarah: Then I die.

I like a friend of mine and I consider to him one of my close friends.
I would prefer not to like him (I don't know why). I can't tell him for some unknown reason. I'm like AHHHHHHH WHAT THE FUCK???? WHY CAN'T I FUCKING SAY THAT????

Would it be awkward for me to tell him?

It's a 6/10.
That's not hard to get.
In other news, I have a political science midterm tomorrow, and not only did I not study, but I have no fucking idea what could be on the test.
Fuck it; I'll trust my gut.

Near 1 am last night two flies began to attack me while I was talking on the phone. I get up to destroy them but these were not normal flies...

They were huge and could fly up to speeds of mach 3 and what made it so difficult to kill them was the fact that my entire room is covered in band posters with the majority of them being black so when the fly caught my eye and I was watching it waiting for it to land it would fly in front of a poster and disappear!

Ten minutes later, yes it took me 10 minutes to kill two flies, the job was finished.

Facts: You were drunk, she was drunk, she is a whore

Count your blessings and be glad all you caught was mono.

Today was horrific!
We're getting gale-force winds and I want school closures.
Two of my best friends that were previously dating broke up, one of which then consequently had a couple of panic attacks in class today. Another of my best friends was sick and everyone else was in a foul mood.

I swear this island has Seasonal Affective Disorder.

For one thing, mono has a SLIGHTLY higher survival rate, for another, that's not the only STD in the world. Gigantic fucking warts and a burning sensation while you pee or a soar throat, you pick.

I went on a hike for the Duke of Edinburgh Award last weekend. One of the worst experiences of my life.

Friday: Just as I was leaving, the water bottle burst and soaked my sleeping bag. I was in a group of three idiot guys who made us walk, and walk, and walk until I was crying in exhaustion. My friend fell and hit her head off a rock, but they still continued to hike. Also, they didn't follow the route correctly and made the group walk twice the distance. That night, little sleep ensued because of the noise from the next tent.

Saturday: Got up bright and early, but had bouts of vomiting and diarrhoea. Still had to walk anyway, and we walked along roads and up and down mountains. We came to a path which was basically uphill as far as the eye could see. Once we reached the end of it, we had to climb a steep mountain. At the top, the route co-ordinators realised we were lost. We climbed back down the mountain, up another one (which never seemed to end) and down the back of it to camp. By this time it was pouring rain and I wanted just wanted to die. The stuff in my rucksack got wet even though I put it in a bag which was meant to keep things dry. After all that, it turns out that we didn't need to climb the first mountain. Which I told them all beforehand but they didn't listen. That night, I just wanted sleep it was so cold that me and two other friends in the tent got up at 3am and put on the camping stove to heat ourselves. Then I tried to boil my socks as they were soaking, but burnt three holes in them. I didn't sleep well after that. I also had a lack of dry clothing, so I had to borrow off other people, which I felt guilty about.

Sunday: The last day. I twisted my ankle so hiking was hell. It finished quickly though and I collapsed at the bus out of pure exhaustion. I was just so glad to get home. All this happened while I was on my period.

I mean, three days of hiking may not seem like a lot to anyone bothering to read this, but it's unlike anything I've ever done and I felt the group leaders didn't take enough breaks, just to let us rest a little. They also cursed at my friends and I for 'walking too fucking slow' even though we were struggling to keep up with them. >.>

Thank god it's over though. It drove me apart from some friends and brought me closer to others.

Dabbadmc, you just made me feel better about today. That hiking seems like the sort of thing that would drive me to mental breakdown. Admittedly, it wouldn't take much, but whatever.
